Comments about Men's Tucson Low (Steel Toe):

The tucson is the best shoe I have ever owned. I just bought my fourth pair. I have used the arroyo, and the targhee, and they were both very good shoes, but the tucson is even better. It wears better and it is more appropriate for work or play than the targhee or arroyo. I believe shoelaces are obsolete, and I take Keen up on thier ofer to ship me bungies for my shoes. I think keen is missing the boat by not promoting bungies more aggressively...

Comments about KEEN Men's Tucson Low (Steel Toe):

After 6 years of work and play use these are nearly unbeatable. 8-16 hours a day on a ship deck with non-skid surface, salt water, diesel and oil this shoe lasted over 2 years. The non-skid deck wore holes in the bottom finally. BUT, I also wear them recreationally after hours and regularly hike up to 27 miles a week over rugged terrain in the desert and mountains. I am amazed that the steel toe has never rusted thru before the shoe wears out. They are a pretty heavy shoe but its never bothered me. This is a great shoe and I hope they don't change it. I'm on my third pair now.

        Proud Keen Owner & Believer

Comments about KEEN Men's Tucson Low (Steel Toe):

Well I got a local job transporting and maintaining equipment and doing a lot of walking on concrete so I purchased my second pair of doc Martin industrial safety toe slip ons because they had been so comfortable on pipeline jobs R.O.W . Unfortunately after three months (I know I should know better) my feet were literally crippled ,cramping , burning from lack of blood from the relentless pressure of the concrete . I had enough and purchased the Keen Tucson Steel Toe Waterproof Low & I have not been happier & more relieved to walk all day pain free , the Keen products are well made and anatomically correct and not just a medieval crude hide strapped to your feet ! I purchased them at a local Vanderbilts for $137.68 out the door and the Keen Tucson's are worth every dime and then some . Every shoe or boot has its purpose and it's important to understand , recognize and make the proper choice for the activity . I own Keen river shoes (sandals) really nice for summer and around the house , some safety toe waterproof 6" boots and their fantastic for winter and general wet rainy days plus they are some really nice looking kicks ! And a pair of leather light natural leather lace up shoes kind of a formal tennis shoe hybrid , leave it to Keen to push the envelope , continue to think outside of the box and actually evolve the shoe and what people should expect for the hard earned dollars we spend on taking care of our feet , a quality masterfully designed state of the art pair of Kicks for whatever your gig may be work or play . Throw those callous & bunion producing torture racks in the corner kick it in a pair of Keen's ! Thanks ,Ronnie Stouder

Comments about KEEN Men's Tucson Low (Steel Toe):

first I would like to say I am admittedly hard on my work shoes. I am a paver and I use these to walk on 300 plus degree asphalt on a regular basis. They rock. I spray them down with diesel and it never goes through to my socks. The threads that hold them together are still tight after 2 seasons of use. That is unheard of. My only concern is around 3 months ago they developed a large lump right under the pinky toe. it's under the fabric and between the layers of rubber... I'm bummed because they are still a good shoe with lots of life left but the lump has made them unusable. I still recommend these to everyone on my crew and would buy another pair. maybe it's from the heat or something..
