What’s one of the big benefits of working for a work boot brand? Wearing work boots all day! Even better that they’re the most comfortable work boots around.

We asked our co-workers around the office and production facility about the styles they lace up most often, both at and after work. Here are the three that rose to the top of the list:

All-Day Comfort & Style: San Jose Wedge Boot

"They are my do-it-all boots." – Bryce, KEEN Manufacturing

Why Bryce loves the San Jose:
"I love the San Jose! I have safety and soft toes, waterproof and not. I have worn out 2 pairs and have 3 to go! I absolutely love them when standing all day at work or squatting to repair something. I love them for riding my motorcycle on the weekends, walking around car shows during the summer, and even exploring outside during the winter! They are my do-it-all boots. I am wearing the new 90-degree heel version as I type this!"

"They work for everything!" – Danielle, KEEN Creative

Why Danielle loves the San Jose:
"All-day comfort and stylish! Love that I can wear them from house projects to walking on sand. They work for everything!"

Rugged & Grippy: Cincinnati 90° Heel Boot

Jeff DIYing when he's not writing.

"From using a heavy-duty hoe to bench cut across a hillside to building jump foundations with boulders, my Cincinnatis are a perfect match for the workload." – Jeff, KEEN Creative

Why Jeff loves the Cincinnati:
"Do I really need my Cincinnati boots for sitting at my computer and writing all day? Nope! Do I have a virtually endless list of home projects and outdoor hobbies that make full use of everything the Cincinnati offers? Absolutely! Recently, I wore mine when I had to climb 30 feet up a ladder to repair a leaky flashing joint on my roof. The 90° heel provided secure footing on the ladder, and the chunky tread pattern on the outsole provided great grip on my roof. I’ve also been volunteering with a local organization to build, maintain, and repair mountain bike trails. This involves heavy tools, steep grades, loose soil, hiking with a heavy pack, rain, mud, and more. From using a heavy-duty hoe to bench cut across a hillside to building jump foundations with boulders, my Cincinnati boots are a perfect match for the workload."

KEEN tip: Cincinnati also comes in a wedge heel, pictured at the top.

All-Weather Versatility: Reno Boot

Kevin going into Clark Griswold mode.

"My Renos have become the go-to boots when I’m working on projects around the house." – Kevin, KEEN Utility Insights & Engagement

Why Kevin loves the Reno:
My Renos have become the go-to boots when I’m working on projects around the house. With all the wet weather in the PNW, you need a great waterproof boot like the Reno for outside tasks like hauling & spreading mulch, cleaning the gutters, or putting up holiday lights (‘tis the season!). The other thing that puts them at the top of my list is the KEEN.ReGEN cushioning underfoot. So comfortable right from the first time I pulled them on!

We hope our list of employee picks helps you find that just-right pair of work boots, shoes, or sneakers for yourself or an important worker in your life. Looking for more ideas? Check out the KEEN Gift Guide.
