Unfortunately, when I ordered these, I followed the KEEN Fit Tip which suggested to order a half size larger than you normally wear because these were "running small". So, instead of ordering a 10 (which is the size I wear in every KEEN shoe I own), I hesitantly ordered a 10.5. My cause for hesitation: KEEN does not offer direct exchanges, this particular shoe+color has been "low stock" for almost a year now, and finally IF they don't fit, the likelihood of me actually being able to get a size 10 by the time KEEN receives the 1st pair and issues a refund to my prepaid gift card is much less than "slim to none". If only I had followed my instincts instead of trusting the manufacturer to provide accurate information. .. So, within a reasonable amount of time, I receive my Targhee 2's in the suggested 10.5. "Don't tell me these are going to be too big. Oh My God. They're too big. I can't even tighten them enough to keep my foot from sliding forward, leaving a gap behind my heel." I wanted them to fit.. they look so cool! But, we can't always have what we want.. including understanding/accountable/result-oriented customer service.
