They are slightly larger than my usual size eights. I need to wear my thick socks with them. They are breaking in well. I bought them early for a trip that I will take next spring where I expect rain.

I am a landscape manager & put many miles on my shoes. These are truly waterproof (unlike others I've tried). Very supportive footbed & a hard plastic outer midsole that a shovel won't cut in half (I've done it with others). I've got to be on my 10th pair by now. After about a year I literally wear the soles off. And Keen honors their warranty. The 1 pair that didn't last the year, they replaced. So PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE never stop making these shoes! And if you do, give me a heads up so I can buy at least 10 more to get me to retirement.

I needed a pair of sneakers that were waterproof for the Winter. Although they fit true to size, they were extremely uncomfortable as they kept rubbing on my ankles, and I have small ankles. I have never experienced this with any other shoes.

I do not typically write reviews but felt these shoes warranted it. We just had a major snow storm in the Tri-State area that snarled traffic for hours. After an hour of sitting in my car going no where fast I made the decision to begin walking to the train station. Had to leave my vehicle at my work place and begin the hike in the heavy snow. A good 4 to 6 inches were on the ground in certain places and no roads were plowed. After 2 miles just to the train station and 2 more miles of walking to get home because traffic was just that bad, I can attest that my feet were completely dry. I love the waterproofing and durability of these shoes from snow to the harsh conditions I put these through for my work. Thank you again for another great pair of shoes!

I bought these as a replacement for my worn out Challengers, thinking the waterproof feature was a plus and I loved the colors offered. But they are just too stiff, after walking around the house in them for a week, just could not get comfortable in them. I think its due to no mesh inserts at the sides which make the challenger so comfy but obviously would need to be replaced on a waterproof shoe. I do not think a larger size would solve the issue. Reluctantly I returned them, and re-ordered Challenger, which feels great but I sure wish there had been a new color combo to choose from. Please note I wear these for all around activity, not hiking, for which they could be fine for another person.

This is my second pair of Keen Targhee waterproof shoes, (the first pair I wore out), and I love both of them. It is winter in this part of the country which I live, and they are waterproof and very warm. The sole of the shoe make me feel secure in slippery conditions. I would buy them again.

Have purchased several pair of Keen shoes in the past with good results. This style definitely does not measure up to past fit and quality. Shoes are very wide in the heel. Even with heavier socks they still slip. I took them to a shoe repair/fitting professional and they could not improve the fit. The lacing system does not come up high enough to allow the shoe to be tightened higher on the foot. Another eyelet would have solved the issue. Unfortunately I purchased the shoes for a vacation and by the time I got home it was past 30 days and I was told by customer service that there is no return option.
