  • Just buy them if only for the comfort.

I wear these at work and they are very comfortable just a day or 2 around the house weekends then full on and they are very comfortable and slip free the tread is great. I would hike in these now that they are forming to my foot shape.

I am really hoping my new Voyageurs hold up.

I have been a long time customer of Keen shoes. The last pair I had however didn't even last a year. The Targee EXP Waterproof mid hikers were comfortable but the upper parts completely separated from the soles on the sides. They leak like a sieve so I have stopped wearing them. I was just wearing them as an every day shoe, not for hiking. SO disappointing. I am not the type of consumer to send stuff back so I am taking one more chance and am hoping I don't need to switch to a new brand. My rating was based on this past experience with the Targee shoe. The new Voyageurs are comfortable but I have only been wearing them a couple of weeks.

I wear custom orthotics and the Vorager has been the perfect boot. I can wear them with orthotics in or adjust the fit if I go without. I've done many miles backpacking in the on both smooth and rough trails and them at least 10 hours a day as a nurse. Wonderful shoes. I don't know what I would do if you stopped making these.

    A good Lightweight Boot.

I bought the Voyageur to wear on warm weather hikes. So far the boot has preformed well on 4 short hikes, less than 5 miles. This boot doesn't fit my foot as well as the Targhee III and that is why I gave it only 4 stars. The construction and materials is like all the other Keen boots i have worn; quality and a good value.

    Well made boot

Would have scored 5 stars, but they run small, ordered same size as Kaci, but were too small. Made me check out the shoe in a half size larger, which I love.

    Great boots

Stumbled on these boots about 3 years ago. I was sold the minute I put them on my feet, they fit like a glove. I drive a big rock truck and spend 12-14 hours a day at construction sites, quarries, concrete plants, waking on everything from crushed limestone and recycled concrete to hot fresh asphalt in 110 degree heat. Climbing in, out and on top of all kinds equipment traction is superb. I use these for hiking/climbing as well, easily the most soft heel bed and supple sole of any hiking boot I've ever worn. The light weight and great ventilation is huge advantage when you are spending 12-14 hour days out in peak summer heat. I've put many miles on these as they are my go to footwear and have turned more than a few friends and family members on to this model of keen. My only suggestions or wishes would be 1. A couple other color combinations. 2. Maybe a version with a composite toe box for safety but keeping the weight down, I know it's a dedicated hiker but man the comfort and mobility are such an asset in the field 3. Buy the Keen utility comfort insoles yellow, and maybe these boots should come with an extra pair of Keen laces they are the best laces ever in terms of snugness/give and staying tied but don't last super long. I guess that's the trade off. Anyways, almost 3 years of demanding service and they continue to shine, well performance wise anyway. Thank you Keen, don't ever stop making this great boot. Best money I have ever spent on boots.

    Poor quality

    2

Iv'e bought nothing but Keen for over 10 years now and have been very happy with them until I bought these. I am a truck driver so i'm not on my feet a lot so I usually get 2 years from a pair of boots, after 8 months these are ready for the trash. They are no longer waterproof and have become very uncomfortable. To look at them from the outside they seem fine, theres over 50% tread left on the bottom and no visible tears or holes in the boot. This will probably be the last pair I buy the quality that kept me coming back just isn't there.
