I chose to return them based on how they felt on my foot. They felt as if the camber was off slanting my foot inward. This immediately felt uncomfortable and was putting stress on my knees as I stood in place as well as walked around in them. The interesting thing is that I did not have the issue with the Targhee II hiking shoe that I am replacing. This leads me to believe it is related to the high top ankle support some how and the manufacturing process. In any event I do enjoy my Keen hiking shoes and will try another pair that are vented for the summer heat.
