I bought a pair of these boots back in November, I was skeptical. I needed a do everything Vermont winter boot. From shoveling in -10F to walking to the local pub at -10F, sledding with the kids, getting up to the ski hill and trudging around Mansfield strapped into Snowshoes. I did not think one boot would fit the bill, but this one did and has done everything well. They are wicked comfortable and warm enough to wear on the coldest of days with a lightweight wool sock. They are warm! they fit well in snowshoe bindings and they are very easy to get traction spikes to slip on for icy hikes. The tread is very grippy in many conditions. I recommend using a boot dryer after adventures because your feet will sweat with activity in these things- but your feet won't get cold- it's like a sauna in there. Best part is they haven't started to stink and I have worn these daily now for 3 months! Cuff is high enough to keep all but the deepest of snow out. The one thing I wish they had is a loop near the toe box for hooking gaiters to. All in all I am beyond pleased, These have become my favorite boots. Exceptional comfort and warmth and a great 1 boot quiver for snowy climates. Well done Keen!!
