We've carefully selected leather uppers designed to last. Then again, if you're wearing your KEENs daily, they won't always be scuff and dirt-free. To treat day to day wear and tear, especially on lighter color leathers, we recommend using a leather cleaner and conditioner, found at most footwear dealers and/or shoe repair shops.

Was looking for a good pair of winter haunting boots for a reasonable price, and came across the Revel IIIs. Read the reviews which appeared to be good and fair, and ended up ordering them. After owning them less than two years and only wear them seasonal but easily put in over 100 miles during hunting and carry a heavy loaded pack, the sides blew out them. Also, I found them wider than expected, uncomfortable, and could never get them to break in as much as I hiked and hunted. They never had that snug comfortable overall feeling. They were nothing like my Lowa's which I have had for 7+ years, which fit like a glove. I did however and reach out to the warranty and customer service folks here at Keen and they where helpful and took care of me, and greatly appreciate their time and help. Though the folks here at Keen as mentioned were great, I will be going back to Lowa's and spending that bit extra. I am just not overly sold on Keens when it comes to long miles with a heavy pack on my back.

Worst boot I have ever owned

    1

By far the worst boot I have ever owned. I've owned 2 pairs of keen boots my first was the pyrenees and one of the best boots I ever owned extremely comfortable and durable lasted 6 years for me. So when they finally wore through I sought to replace them and at the time they had stopped producing that style. I came across these boots at a local boot store and thought I'd give them a shot well unless you have flat feet they have been the most uncomfortable boot I have ever worn then there is the so called insulation smh.....nope I work outside in the inland northwest and they are horrible, not done yet tho. Most of the soles have begun to unglue themselves and the shoes leak like crazy. BY FAR THE WORST BOOT I HAVE EVER COME ACROSS! I've owned many keen products and have a pair of kids keen hiking boots that are on their 5th kid now and still look great. Not sure what happened to that keen quality....maybe it's that made in China sticker I noticed on the inside.

These are my first pair of "real" hiking boots. Spending over $100 makes sense now. My first impression was how lightweight these boots were. They are SOLID though. I have been breaking them in for the past week, but honestly there is really no need. These seem good to go right out of the box. They are super comfortable. Oh and this warmth thing they got going on. I didn't really care about it much, but this winter has been super cold and I am amazed at how warm my feet feel in these boots! I come home from work and don't want to take them off! Great boots!

    Comfortable boot BUT...

    3

I have owned these boots for just over one year now and while the fit and finish and warmth have been pretty good the one caveat I'd offer is the eyelets that the laces go through. They are strong to be sure and made of solid metal unlike so many of the other KEEN models but when it comes to lace wear they are lacking. I went through three pairs of KEEN laces in about 4 months of wear before I finally broke down and set about manually filing the sharp edges down and ordered some replacement laces that have been holding up well since. However, the KEEN customer service team has shown through again and gave a complimentary back to me for this issue so I cannot recommend KEEN enough as they stand behind their products...thanks KEEN!

Not comfortable at all. The metal grommets by toes rub feet

    1

Metal lace grommets rub feet especially the last ones by toes. Only put them on for a few minutes and could tell right away that there was a big problem. I returned them but haven't got my credit back yet on my account? 🙁 Every pair of shoes I've ever bought were super comfortable but these boots with metal grommets have problems.

    Great Boot, would buy again

This is one of several Keen boots I own, all have been great, the comfort from this one is beyond good, and the traction on packed snow is great. Would recommend these to anyone that wants a mid temp warm boot and needs to walk on packed or loose snow.

    Great all around waterproof boot

Have been using these for a few weeks now and love them. Just using them for walking the dog around the neighborhood but they've been through rain and snow and are working great. Very comfortable.

    Uncomfortable seam makes these unwearable

    2

I got these as a replacement for my leaking Targhee II boots that I loved, but leaked after only a few months. The pros of these boots are that they are nice looking, seem warm and sturdy. However, the fit isn't great at all. I made the mistake of wearing these for the first time with a thick snowboarding sock that provided a lot of padding. The second time I wore them, I used my regular outdoor socks, and discovered that the seam below the tongue digs into my ankle bone. I have a bruise from walking about a mile in these boots, but now I can't return them because they are worn. Not happy. I don' think I would purchase another Keen boot.

The shoes were dirty and and leather was scuffed. I sent them back. I can't believe they still want a review
