  • I don't think I buy this one again

Not a pipeline boot. Very comfortable at first, but then the steel toe starts digging in your toes after the first month. I even got a couple blisters in my toe because of it. I don't think I will buy this product for myself next time.

Very comfortable right out of box, I will buy these again

I am a utility worker, I rely on my boots to be comfortable, waterproof, long lasting. These boots are replacement for a different style which failed after 2 months. Time will tell if these will last, I would have given 5 stars if I was confident they will last, Keen was very compliant to warranty first boots.

I would by this product again

These are my second pair of boots by Keen. I was a Die hard RedWing person but I believe that Keen truly makes a better boot. The Durability is awesome. Comfortable boot no break in time to speak of.

Skinny feet? Do not loop shoelaces through the front tab.

    5

Purchased them on 9/21/18, it is now 10/6-18. The build quality is good, the comfort is amazing. They fit really well and I don't mind walking in them all day. I have skinny feet and have to really cinch them up tight. This causes the front tab of the toe to pull up making the steel-toe rub on the top of my left foot. I took the shoelaces a part and re-laced them without looping in through the toe and it made a difference. But now it is like the material is bunched up in the toe where it bent and it continues to rub. I don't know if it will get any better ... I love the look and the build quality, I am debating about sending them back for another pair.

    Decent

Outdoor field work in mixed terrain (construction sites and woods/fields). Two weeks in and already experiencing some tears in the black reinforced toe material where it attaches to the sole. Also have a hard time getting the laces to lock when pulled tight, it takes some finesse. Toe is more round and spacious that previous Keens I've owned which makes them a little more clumsy for walking. The large heel and taller front sole also take away from stability when walking in uneven terrain. The top of the tongue is very wide and fluffy and can be uncomfortable on your leg if socks are not tall enough. Not my favorite boots so far.

    They're great but...

I'm a Wastewater Systems operator. I work in a variety of different treatment plants with many different walking surfaces ranging from concrete to gravel. These boots are super comfortable right from the beginning. However, the outsole is starting to wear quite rapidly. I'm coming from the Keen Milwaukee WP boots which were SUPERB for my needs but I wanted an 8" boot for better support. I've owned the Coburgs for just over a month and I feel like I they're not heavy duty enough for my use. The outsole has good grip and support just, for me, has low resistance to abrasion. I'd recommend these to anyone so long as the surface they walk on is concrete or similar. These have performed well in wet situations also.

I love these shoes, only downside is they wore out within 6 months but the upside was the customer service is outstanding. I sent in pictures of my shoe and the issues I had and within 24hrs they credited me for another pair. The customer services is a big reason why I continue to buy from keen.

    They're ok.

I have worn these boots everyday since purchasing them about two months ago. They are relatively comfortable, but nothing to write home about. I have owned a pair Red Wings and Mucks that were both more comfortable and more durable. Additionally, I have already had to replace the laces, because the eyelets are too sharp. I work in a brewery and my feet are constantly in contact with both water and harsh chemicals- I am worried that these boots won't make it six months.

    Comfortable out of the box!

    5

When it comes to my footwear I'm very picky about my boots. 11.5 EE, US. is hard to find that is true to size but these are incredibly comfortable out of the box. I've never found a shoe that fits my length and width properly is steel toe and (in safety toe categories) lightweight. TRED. Very nice, looks and utilitarian. Grips well and is thick enough to handle the abuse of whatever you have to throw at it. THE TOEBOX AND STEEL TOE. No matter what motions or flexing I can't even tell it's there until I kick or set something heavy on it, forget 10 being max. That speaks volumes past 11 on the speaker. SEWING/THREADS. Good quality and sturdy, very nice and tight so they don't poke out and get snagged. TONGUE. A little bunchy but I love that it is sewn in above the ankle very helpful for waterproofing and wear and tear. LACES. Could be a bit more rigid or dense in the braiding. there good for what they are but they're a bit soft against abrasives. INSERT. Very supportive, has extra padding where heavy wear is common and support to help keep feet in place and correctly moving heel to toe which helps with balance and (if you walk 10 miles a day like me) feeling good through a long day on your feet as well as a nice bouncy feel to it BREATHABILITY. Feet are pretty good but the cuff is a little more insulated although I live in Texas... if you don't have sweaty feet in 105°F with 80% humidity in the shade with boots. You're not human. However if I move to AC I can feel the difference after an hour and my feet are nice and comfy LASTLY THE LEATHER. Flexible and form fitting yet sturdy and rigid where it needs to be. If you have read this far just know I'm being thorough and honest. In no way am I getting any special deals or perks from keen. THESE ARE JUST DANG GOOD BOOTS! Good job keen. And I hope this review shows to others that higher quality boots at a reasonable Price range exists because I've paid much more for much lower quality and care in a boot.
