INSULATED WINTER WORK BOOTS
Work doesn’t stop even when conditions are cold, wet, or slippery. From ice-covered jobsites to chilly refrigerated warehouses, KEEN Utility insulated work boots are built to keep feet warm, surefooted, and working through it all.
Our collection of cold-ready work boots are made with 600-gram or 400-gram KEEN.WARM insulation so you can find just the right warmth level for your work. To keep feet dry, every pair of our men’s insulated work boots are 100% waterproof with a breathable KEEN.DRY membrane. For secure footing on slick decking or concrete, they come with grippy rubber outsoles that are Mark II certified slip-resistant. Left and right asymmetrical, non-metallic carbon or composite safety toes help protect feet from impacts and falling objects. Plus they’re lighter than steel toes and don’t conduct cold like metal safety toes, so you stay even warmer as you work.
WHICH PAIR OF KEEN UTILITY INSULATED BOOTS IS RIGHT FOR YOU?
To find the ideal boot for your needs, choose the statement that fits your work best:
“I NEED A WORK BOOT FOR THE COLD THAT HOLDS UP TO WEAR AND TEAR.”
If your work has you trudging through grit and grime or exposes you to harsh chemicals, we suggest our heavy-duty Philadelphia carbon toe boot for men. Waterproof and durable, the barnyard-resistant leather upper resists the damaging effects of common workplace chemicals like sodium chloride and ammonium hydroxide. The six-inch height and 400-gram KEEN.WARM insulation helps keep feet warm and protected. Up and down ladders or standing in place all shift long, the air-infused KEEN Luftcell midsole helps you feel great from clock-in to clock-out.
“Rock solid boots. They keep my feet warm and dry for winter working conditions. Both in the snow firing a kiln or on a cold concrete floor in a pottery studio.” - Ernest
“I NEED A HEAVY-DUTY WORK BOOT WITH GREAT GRIP ON ICE.”
Sleet coated roads or icy jobsites are no match for our men’s CSA Philadelphia carbon toe boot. Made with innovative KEEN.POLAR TRACTION, micro-glass fibers embedded in the outsole dig into slick surfaces for grip you can depend on. The eight-inch height and chemical and mineral resistant barnyard-resistant leather upper keep feet dry and protected as you work. The puncture-resistant midsole plate helps reduce incidents of underfoot puncture wounds and meets ASTM and CSA standards. As you load rock at the quarry or secure cars onto the transport trailer, KEEN.WARM insulation keeps you warm, and an air-infused KEEN Luftcell midsole with 3/4 Goodyear welt construction won’t weigh you down.
“These boots are fantastic! I trudge through the snow, slush, standing water, and mud like I am walking down the sidewalk in the middle of summer. The traction on the boots is terrific. I push my snowblower up a 14% incline on an ice-covered drive and never slip. I spend hours in snow a foot deep, and my feet stay warm and toasty. I tie the laces once in the morning and they stay tied all day. I don't know what more you could ask for in a boot.” - Sharon W
“I NEED A WARM, HEAT-RESISTANT WORK BOOT, AND PREFER TO BUY AMERICAN BUILT.”
Using responsibly sourced materials from around the world, our men’s American Built Dover carbon toe boot is one of the warmest work boots we make. 600-gram KEEN.WARM insulation keeps feet toasty in temperatures as low as the negative -50s °F/-40s °C. Great for foundry or steel mill work, the heat-resistant rubber outsole is rated up to 572°F/300°C. The KonnectFit heel-capture system, midfoot TPU shank, and KEEN Luftcell midsole keep you feeling supported and light on your feet while climbing ladders or moving materials. The eight-inch height and KEEN.DRY waterproof, breathable membrane make it easy to just hose off the mud and slush at the end of your shift.
“My favorite boots! 5-Stars for these boots that I received a few weeks ago. I've been buying the "American Built" line for almost ten years, and although each pair has been great so far, these Dovers are as comfortable and warmer than any others. Also a great boot for a quick trip to the grocery store on my KLR 650 moto. Worth every penny, and I expect these will last for years like all of my other Keens. I highly recommend.” - Trent
“I NEED A SUPER GRIPPY WORK BOOT THAT WON’T WEIGH ME DOWN.”
When the cold weather comes, equipment operators, construction workers, longshoremen, and more rely on our men’s Davenport composite toe boot. One of the lightest insulated boots we make, it features 400-gram KEEN.WARM insulation that keeps feet warm when temperatures dip to -40°F/-40°C. KEEN.POLAR TRACTION in the outsole offers dependable grip on icy surfaces with micro-glass fibers that dig into the ground as you work. The 90-degree heel, six-inch height, and TPU shank provide stability and support day in and day out.
“Awesome work boot! Got my insulated safety toe boots about 3 weeks ago. They broke in just fine. I’m working in an unheated factory with wet and slippery conditions, and these boots are doing their job perfectly. Great traction, support, and warmth without excess weight with lots of room in the toe box.” - Cider M
