All KEEN leather sandals start with ethically sourced leather from tanneries certified by the Leather Working Group for their environmental and social practices. For many of our leather sandal styles, the leather is infused with PFAS-free water repellency during the tanning process to create waterproof leather, so it can handle dockside splashes.
