Work Monumental.
Live Monumental.

If you aren't looking for it, you might just miss it. Tucked away on an unassuming farm outside of Minneapolis, Rush River Scenic is home to a team of designers, builders, and finishers working together to solve clients' problems and encourage each other's personal growth as artists.

Here, the team designs and constructs sets for events, movies and photo shoots for some of the biggest brands in the world. But that doesn't stop them from finding the time to build a Gazebo for their local community, help each other on personal creative projects and open up their shop to teach people the skills they've learned along the way.

Rush River Scenic Owner

Although he’s managed to build a successful business that does work for some of the biggest brands in the world, Nils is most proud of the team of people he’s put together over the years. He’s created a place that is less about work and more about people solving problems, even if those problems have to do with the business.

Rush River Scenic Set Builder & Furniture Maker

A carpenter and problem solver, Cole spends his days coming up with creative ways to build his clients’ ideas, even if it means building an eight foot ox out of foam from time to time. He’s turned his work skills into a passion for furniture making. He collects scraps from jobs and turns them into unique pieces that he sells, or gives to family and friends.
