Just got Green Terradora boot. Gorgeous well made shoe. Feels good on EXCEPT the toe box is too tight. Have been wearing Newport H2s for over 10 years, happy feet. Terradora is significantly smaller for front and top of foot. Corners over pinky toe much narrower. Top of boot presses down hard on top of foot. Loosened laces a lot, but shoe is made stiffly there and pressure intense. Wore middle thickness socks, will have to wear thin smooth socks with this shoe. Going to put ball in toebox when not wearing to try to stretch upper to relieve some pressure. Wore for 6 hours yesterday and then started to get achy, had to take off to prevent blisters. Bottom of shoe not quite as solid as Newport H2s. Glad to have this beautiful lightweight waterproof boot in record breaking rainy Portland, just need to stretch the upper front of shoe. Ordered my regular size and length is good.

I was so excited to get my new hiking boots a few weeks ago. I have worn them hiking in both Kansas and Missouri, and also to work in my small animal veterinary clinic. So you can imagine my disappointment this morning when I put them on and discovered a tear in the crease of the material where my big toe goes. After reading the other comments, I don't think they are waterproof anymore.

Loved the fit, but not durable

    By

    from North Bruce Peninsula, ON

Comments about KEEN Women's TERRADORA Waterproof Mid:

I am a keen Keen wearer, from sandals to casual to hiking boots. I recently bought the Terradoras to replace an aging pair of hiking boots. They are light, fit like a glove, I felt like I was gliding over the trails and the rocks. They were waterproof. But, I have had them for two months now, and there is a hole worn in the fabric, likely due to an errant stick, or a sharp rock. So, not so waterproof anymore. However, I did take them back to the store where I bought them and the warranty has been honoured. Thanks Keen. Based on some other reviews here, it appears that the fabric will need some serious toughening!

    Don't buy...fabric frays

Comments about KEEN Women's TERRADORA Waterproof Mid:

I've had these for a month and a half, wearing them an hour a day during my walks. Pretty boot but the fabric at the bend of the toes has frayed. Pretty annoying as I only walk in them on paved paths, no terrain. Good thing I did not buy a second pair as I was tempted to do at the beginning. They look nice, fit very comfortably but the fabric is a deal breaker!

    hole in mesh fabric

    By

Comments about KEEN Women's TERRADORA Waterproof Mid:

I purchased these boots to hike in the Cascades. I really like these boots (lightweight, comfortable), but I noticed a hole in the mesh fabric after a week of wear.

    Very satisfied

Comments about KEEN Women's TERRADORA Waterproof Mid:

I bought my first pair of Keens last summer. My son's Keens only proves that are made in a high quality so I decide that give a try for myself.
Any way, we hiked in the Andes in Peru and felt great comfort, safe and looking good.
I have quite thick ankle so not all the boots feels comfortable but this model is perfect. Because it is not too high I could walk down without a pain in the leg and still felt safe and steady!!!

I would not buy this product or brand again

    By

    from South Africa

Comments about KEEN Women's TERRADORA Waterproof Mid:

I recently purchased a pair of "Keen" women's Terradora Waterproof hiking boots to do the Fish river canyon with in Namibia.
This was the first hike that I had done with these shoes so they were brand new.
I was very disappointed to find that they were in fact a terrible purchase and no good at all due to the fact that they had collected sand and dust between the inner and the outer lining of the shoe. This meant that I could not get rid of the sand by simply inverting the shoe.
The build up of sand by day two of walking, had compacted my foot and formed a hard "rock like" ball in the front of the shoe placing very uncomfortable pressure on my toes.
I also noted that in the front of the shoe where the ball of your foot rolls onto your toe, the outer material covering the shoe, has already started to tear.
Since I spent R2600 on these shoes and wanted to try a new brand from the one I usually would buy, I was seriously let down by this brand and the shoe.
