Classic trails call for classic boots. Blending traditional all-leather construction with modern waterproof/breathable technology, the Pyrenees are built to keep feet dry and comfortable over long days and rough miles. European styling conceals a KEEN.DRY membrane that seals out precipitation while allowing moisture to escape.

  • 4mm multi directional lugs
  • KEEN.DRY waterproof breathable membrane
  • Torsion stability ESS shank

Gently brush the footwear with a soft bristle brush or hand towel to remove loose dirt and debris. Stains can be treated by lightly rubbing a gum eraser in a circular motion over the location and lightly brushing afterwards. Tough stains can be treated with a mixture of water and a little vinegar on a damp cloth. This process may cause slight discoloration to the area.

  • I love my Keen Pyrenees!

I hike for about an hour a day, up on the ridge I live on. My feet are dry and comfortable.

    Favorite hiking boots EVER!

    5

These were so easy to break in, and I love traipsing all over Montana in them! They do run a bit small, so I went with the size 8 for women. They fit great. Two sets of shoe laces were a nice surprise, too. I cannot recommend these enough for anyone wanting a great all around hiking boot. Now if only these came in a tall version...

Yes, glad keen brought them back!

Best boots ever! I can wear all day, with no problems or discomfort. I even wear them to work and they are comfortable. They are also warm for hunting, camping or any outdoor actives.

    Uncomfortable for Keens

    2

I hike for a my job. I spend 10-12 hours a day in my boots, 5 days a week, hiking a huge variety of terrain. From flat, dry, deserts, to marshes and plains, and everything the Rocky Mountains has to offer, I really put boots to the test. And generally, I am VERY happy with my Keen purchases. I've been wearing Keens for years. So believe me when I say, I WANTED to love these boots, and I also use boots very heavily. They aren't my "weekend day hike" boots. The good: They're waterproof up to the ankles. They're lightweight for mid-height, heavy-duty, full leather waterproof boots. Like all Keens, they are generally more comfortable than your average hiking boot. The bad: The breathability is so-so. To be expected with waterproof boots. The seams and soles have ALREADY begun to show wear-- small tears and bits of rubber coming off. And that is after 5 days of hiking (extensively) in them. I worry what this means for their longevity. The WORST: The fit is not your typical Keen fit. Like most of us, I look at Keens because I value comfort over everything else in a boot. But these just aren't that comfortable. The arches seem to be in the wrong place, they seem narrower than my other Keen boots, and they don't have the strap that allows you to tighten the boot around the heel like most of their other hiking boots. Tightening the laces leaves you loose in some areas and way too tight in others, particularly the ankle. I've never had a boot that has both bruised my ankles by the pressure put on them by trying to keep the boot tight enough, while also giving me blisters because they are too loose. I can't recommend these boots if you actually plan to hike in them. Maybe for work boots where you mostly stand around in a factory or on a job site, and only do light walking or hiking. Or, for your fashionable day hikers that you use one weekend a month. Because they do look nice. They just don't live up to my expectations of Keen boots.

My husband and I buy and wear a lot of Keens. When looking for new footwear Keen is the first top we make and it is usually the last stop we make. Re: Women's Pyrenees: I would gladly buy these boots again but they are so sturdy and so well built I think they will last me a lifetime.

Keen makes a great product for a very good price.

I really like the quiet old school style of these. I plan to use them for working outside, walking and on the few days of cold weather we get here in Lubbock, Texas. I also plan to go on some hiking trips with them. I had another pair of Keen boots a few years ago and wore them out.

Keen used to have the most comfortable shoes. These have no cushion under the heel or ball of the foot. They look great but I need comfort too.
