  • Very comfortable but disappointing durability

    1

After wearing these boots for three months on weekends outdoors and at work occasionally, the sole is separating in a few areas and they are not the least bit waterproof. I could sneeze on the toe area and my sock would be wet. On the contrary, no doubt the most comfortable boot I have ever worn in my 13 years destroying footwear as a mechanic. I was hoping these would have the bonded sole of my dreams...comfort and durability. They suite my feet, just not my lifestyle.

Good boots untill it rained and they literally fell apart!

    2

These boots kept me comfortable and blister-free on a 5 week hiking trip UNTIL it rained and they began to come apart. The sole separated from the upper on both feet! Sadly disappointed, but at least it was toward the end of the trip.

    Waterproof?.......Not even close

    2

As a wildlife photographer, i'm constantly in tough conditions, crossing streams, rain, and snow....these boots claim to be waterproof, from day one of wearing these i found my feet wet . The boots themselves are very comfortable, but i most likely wouldnt buy another pair of these.

    Waterproof?.........................NOT AT ALL.

    3

Really like the way these boots fit, however, they are NOT EVEN CLOSE to being waterproof....As a wildlife photographer, i'm in the field constantly......in that aspect these boots failed miserably ....as a dry weather boot, i'd say they would be good, but all around boot.....not even close

Slightly smaller than most, but still fit me

    5

I normally wear a size 13 and have some extra toe length room in most shoes, so I purchased the Gypsum size 13's and they are just slightly longer than my big toe but the seem to fit without any jamming. I mainly wear these for light duty use to work or running errands around town and they are very comfortable for that. I am a big Keen fan and have several pairs of their sandals, shoes, boots and socks. They make great products that feel comfortable and are built to last.

Great until soles started to fall off

Was really pleased until the sole started to fall off of right boot. They were comfortable and seemed to be durable. Walked miles while hunting and hiking. had them for about a year.

    KEEN Stands Behind Their Products

So far so good. I got these recently with a promo coupon that Keen sent me for a warranty claim on a pair of TARGHEE EXP WATERPROOF shoes that the right heel hard started to peel off the sole. They are quite comfortable. So long as they hold up I am a happy camper.

    Very Nice Boot

    4

I wear Keens for hiking and Search and Rescue. Toe box needs to be wide to accommodate changes in my feet after I've been on them for hours. I have a wide foot anyway. I absolutely loved the look of this hiking boot. Sadly I did have to return, runs just a little to narrow for me.

Not the Keens that I hoped for

    1

I am still wearing my old Keens that I enjoyed for years. My old Keens were a good fit from the start-- roomy in the toes with responsive lacing that adjusted to a sure-footed fit. These new boots are boxy and unresponsive. I do not like the fit, the lacing, or the feel of the new boots. They are treacherous on wet logs and rocks. I am giving up on Keens and will donate my new boots to someone who can use them. Right now they just take up space in my closet.
