  • Warm comfortable boot

I work outside in winter weather conditions at an airport and needed to replace old boots. These boots are amazing, WARM and COMFORTABLE! I did have to break them in, they hurt my feet for one day and now they are molded to my feet perfectly. I love them and I'm very happy with my purchase.

I have to say I'm very disappointed in these boots I saved my money for a year to get me a good pair of winter boots and these do not meet what I was looking for the two good things about the boot the toe box is wide and they're lightweight other than that there's not anything good that I can say about them.I take the dogs out walking for at least two to three hours a day and my feet have been frozen solid when we come back I cannot wear a thick pair of winter socks with them the laces are too short the second hook on each boot is almost impossible to get the laces under.I have a pair of the Keen hiking boots that I am in love with so I thought these would be the same quality but they're not and now I have to wear them this winter because I cannot afford to buy another pair of boots

    Not comfortable

    1

I tried these on Christmas Day! I was so excited to get a good pair of boots. They look great. However, I had a pair of thin summer socks and there was definitely not enough room for a little thicker pair. Way to tight on the top of my foot. Who does that, who makes a winter boot that isn't roomy inside. I have a high arch and narrow feet so a wide width will not help me nor will a bigger size. Please redesign these so I can buy them. I already went up a half size. I need a suggestion for a different boot.

This might be a good boot if it fits, but the sizing is really flawed. I wear an 8, and even in Keens, I typically wear an 8 (and believe me, I've bought MANY Keen products through the years). Because of reviews on this boot, I bought an 8.5. As soon as I tried it on, I felt like the upper part of my foot was in a vice. The toe box was ridiculously narrow...and I would also say "shallow" from top to bottom, so it wasn't just a question of width, but also of depth. I returned it and got the 9. Still a bad fit in the toe box, combined with being too long. Needless to say, I didn't keep the boot. Overall, while this undoubtedly works well for some people, I would say it needs a design and production overhaul -- and quite frankly, there's also no reason that a piece of footwear shouldn't be "true to size". Very disappointing.

    Won't Buy Keen Again

    1

This is the 3rd pair of Keen boots I have had fail due to poor craftsmanship in less than a year. The first pair started to come unstitched after hiking less than 100 miles. I returned those to the store for an exchange. That 2nd pair (a different model) came apart where the sole meets the body of the shoe. Probably 300 miles in. I returned those to the company because I thought they really needed to be aware of the problem. They gave me a credit that I could only use at the Keen website and only on full priced boots. After lots of research I decided to try these. I loved the way they looked, fit and kept my feet toasty warm BUT after wearing only 5 times on average on trail hikes in East Tennessee these failed too! One of the upper clasps that hold the laces popped off. Luckily it was still hanging on the place when I got home. I am not wearing these in extreme conditions or abusing them. I had a pair of keens that lasted 5 years of constant use so I have been surprised and highly disappointed in the shoddy product that Keen is now producing. I will try to fix this pair of boots since it is pointless to return them. It is stupid to get another credit to get another pair of boots that will fall apart immediately.

    Would consider a different Boot

These boots did not meet up to my expectations after reading all of the reviews I had to send the first pair back it was too small I sent the second pair of back because something wasn't right with the right boot it hurt my foot and was very uncomfortable and I can only wear lightweight socks with these boots. These boots have not kept my feet warm yet I am not a hard person to please but when I spend my hard-earned money I really expected something else.I have received my third pair of boots that Keen has sent me and I have to say their customer service and their sending something back and giving you something in return is awesome that would I give 10 Stars. I have not yet been my third pair of boots on and tried them out I am just hoping since the one good thing about these boots is that they are so lightweight.we get a fair amount of snow here in Northwest Indiana and our share of ice and some very cold temperatures and that's why I bought these boots so I will review further after trying the third pair of the same boot. But just let me say that Keen is an awesome awesome place as far as customer service and helping you and being honest and backing their products

    Great boots!

Love these boots, my feet are warm and dry! Lightweight and comfortable. did not have to order a half size up. Laces could be a little longer but they work fine for me. I wish Keen would make a pair of these that went just below the knee for deep snow. I would definitely recommend these boots.

Too narrow for wide feet w high arches

    2

Really wanted to love these. Ordered half a size up. My feet are narrow and I have high arches. Pinched feet. Tried wearing them in the warm house w laces very loose to see if they would give and flex. Did not. Feet relieved to be out of them. Returned. Really pretty, so gave them 2 stars.
