I am a Keen fan with wide feet looking for a boot in which to take hour long walks on a paved walking path on an almost daily basis. The boots arrived looking scruffy with scratches and variously colored patches. I have never worn work boots, so maybe this is standard. The tongue on one side is frayed a bit where it ends connection with the boot. They are not warm. If I have a wool socks of a certain thickness my feet will eventually warm up, but at first it feels like I am going to end up with frostbite. They are heavy, but no heavier than to be expected. That said, no blisters and I only needed to give them a short break in period indoors. I am hoping that when I add waterproofing to the leather they will look a bit better. I really wish Keen would make wide shoes and boots that are not utility designed. All in all, I am still a Keen fan. If you are used to wearing work boots you might be delighted with these.
