This waterproof work boot keeps feet comfortable and dry so you can focus on the task at hand. Steel toes and a slip-resistant sole provide the protection you need for medium-duty jobs.

  • KEEN.Dry waterproof breathable membrane
  • Left and right asymmetrical steel toe
  • Locking metal hooks and lacing eyelets
  • Meets or exceeds ASTM F1677-96 Mark II non-slip testing standards
  • Meets or exceeds ASTM F2412-11 and F2413-11 I/75 C/75 EH standards

We've carefully selected leather uppers designed to last. Then again, if you're wearing your KEENs daily, they won't always be scuff and dirt-free. To treat day to day wear and tear, especially on lighter color leathers, we recommend using a leather cleaner and conditioner, found at most footwear dealers and/or shoe repair shops.

I've been a paint contractor for 20 years. I typically replace my work boots every 6 months. These Tucson with safety toe are the best I have tried. And I have tried many. They are a tad higher over the ankle than a typical "mid" height shoe, but I like the extra support at my ankle. I switched to Keen several years ago after being disappointed with another major label popular brands declining quality. And frankly, I'm glad the other product decided to cut corners. The Keens are superior in every way. I first switched to a lower style Keen. But after many, MANY hours spent on extension ladders when out doors, and concrete or subfloors inside new constructions, I developed planters fasciitis. The higher ankle actually helped alleviate the pain. Great boot. 2 pairs a year for the past ~4 years. And believe me when I tell you...I demolish my work wear...every 6 months is no slighting the boot. Please don't discontinue the product ;^)

I was buying the soft toe Tucson Mid PR multiple pairs at a time because I sensed they would be discountinued... anything I love gets discontinued at some point, and I noticed color options were getting sold out and sizes were getting slim at some retailers.
Steel toes are too heavy, and unnecessary for the carpentry work I do. But I loved/ need the puncture resistant footbed.
Please bring back the TUCSON MID PR. Take the 4 missing stars from the steel toe, add them to the PR, 9 stars for the soft toe!

Very comfortable, almost zero breakin needed, I work in construction and they hold up well, the boots could use a little better arch support, thanks keen for the great product, I wish they were all made in the USA tho

Comments about KEEN Men's Tucson Mid (Steel Toe):

I am a construction inspector and I walk a lot. I have tried other brands but have never found the comfort these Tucsons provide. they are light and feels like you are wearing sneakers at work, but they provide the safety requirements of having steel toes. I highly recommend this product.

The only downside is, with everyday use and with the amount of walking I do and I would get them wet once in a while, they only last about a year and half.

But I am on my third pair and looking forward to getting the same ones for the fourth time!

Also Keen has awesome customer service, my 2nd one was defective, and they happily replaced it for me.

These shoes are great, very comfortable.

One draw back is that ice accumulates in the treads making them extremely slippery in cold weather.
