  • Great work boot for manufacturing setting

Best steel toe boots i have owned. Lots if toe room. Comfortable all the time. I like fact the upper portion is not too paddled as is case with other Keen models. Keep feet dry from damp conditions. I wish there was a soft toe model i could buy for backpacking.

    So far so good.....

I wear these every day driving a semi truck and walking the concrete floor of a warehouse. We have to have steel toes and Keens are the only boots and shoes I have been able to wear that didn't cut my toes. The Tucson mid so far is one of the best wearing most comfortable boot I've tried. I looked at one of the USA made Keen boots but after reading the reviews and only 63% of people would recommend to a friend, I saw these. I was a bit leary of made in China but so far that fear was unfounded , these boots are very comfortable on the hard concrete and they are flexible enough around the ankle when driving the truck. I would highly recommend these boots to anyone.

    Best boot

I use these boots on the dock. So far they have saved my toes from being crushed from heavy freight. The comfort is like wearing a tennis shoe. These are my third pair and will continue to buy Keen.

    Good work boots....

Great boots. I picked these because I liked the simple sole design which doesn't get hung up when walking across rafters or climbing ladders. They are a bit heavier than I would like. I don't really need the steel toes so a lighter composite toe would be great. These boots ran large. I could have had a better fit with a half size smaller. Can't beat the construction. I'm hoping they'll last longer than a year with almost daily wear. A bit pricey.

    Excellent pair of boots.

I've been wearing these for about a year and a half, and they have been solid. I work in a lot of wet environments, especially snow covered areas, and I have never had an issue of my feet getting wet. The only problem with that, however, is in the summer when it's 80+, there is no ventilation. Since the wet can't get in, the same is true on the inside, so when it's gets hot, your feet sweat and trap it in the rest of the day. The mid part where the heel meets the leather, mine came apart on both boots, which is unfortunate, but it still held together all this time. I am ordering another pair of Tucson's, but the low version for this reason, and also so it doesn't look stupid with shorts. Excellent boot none the less!

    Great boots

So far these boots are great! They are nice and light as compared to my Red Wing boots. I do wish they had the BOA lacing system like on my old boots; not sure if that is exclusive to Red Wing. I walk on concrete, asphalt, and occasionally ballast. On the railroad there are lots of uneven walking surfaces. These boots handle it all. I will definitely be buying another pair.

    Keen, not for narrow feet

    1

All Keen boots and shoes are not designed for someone with a c width or narrower. So dont even bother trying, i did try and failed to find a good fit.

    Legitimately considering buying again.

I've owned these boots for about three years. I've worn them everyday, hunting trips plus working in a machine shop. Very comfortable when they're broken in, quiet despite weighing quite a bit, and definitely very well made. Has excellent grip and is pretty well waterproofed. Considering buying another pair of these to replace my current ones.

Bring back the soft toe! (Mid PR)

    1

I was buying the soft toe Tucson Mid PR multiple pairs at a time because I sensed they would be discountinued... anything I love gets discontinued at some point, and I noticed color options were getting sold out and sizes were getting slim at some retailers. Steel toes are too heavy, and unnecessary for the carpentry work I do. But I loved/ need the puncture resistant footbed. Please bring back the TUCSON MID PR. Take the 4 missing stars from the steel toe, add them to the PR, 9 stars for the soft toe!
