This hiking shoe is ready for off-road adventure. Durable waterproof protection stands up to wet weather, and the luggy outsole adds traction. Please note, the leather might be a little darker than shown.

  • 4mm multi directional lugs
  • Contoured heel lock
  • KEEN.Dry waterproof breathable membrane
  • Torsion stability ESS shank

We've carefully selected leather uppers designed to last. Then again, if you're wearing your KEENs daily, they won't always be scuff and dirt-free. To treat day to day wear and tear, especially on lighter color leathers, we recommend using a leather cleaner and conditioner, found at most footwear dealers and/or shoe repair shops.

I have had mine for two years and have thoroughly abused them and they are still in great shape with many more miles to go in them.

Comments about KEEN Men's Targhee II:

I bought my first pair in late spring. The first time I used these the rubber on the side pealed away from the shoe. I returned them to the store that I bought them from and picked up a new pair. I then used this pair on 2 camp outs and a few small hikes. I had the same issue with this pair, the rubber on the side from the bottom pealed away and started flapping. Very disappointed because I found these to be very comfortable. I now need to return these again. As the saying goes, fool me once shame on you, fool me twice buy a different brand.

Comments about KEEN Men's Targhee II:

I am a long time keen customer, especially with Targhee. Targhee 1 was the best, back in the late 90s. Then Targhee II came out. I liked the fit and styling of 1 better than II, but still Targhee II was the best casual / hiking shoe available. I'm 6ft, 225lb with a very wide foot. That requires good arch and ankle support. The Keen footbeds cant be beat. But still the quality gets a little worse every year - thinner leather, weaker soles, shabbier stitching, less consistency from shoe to shoe. I have owned about 10 pairs of targhees and 8 pairs of voyageurs and one pair of summit county boots. Keens are still better than most shoes, but sad to see quality drop off.

            Target II

            Comments about Men's Targhee II:

I am on my fourth pair. These shoes are fantastic. They wear like iron. I live at 7700' in Colorado. Each morning I walk two miles on a gravel rock path.

After two years the uppers are in good condition. The soles are two thirds worn. Best of any brand I've tried. I have never thrown a pair away.
