  • Great comfort and looks, Bad quality

    2

2 months in - torn tongue, and broken lace. I have one foot that's slightly bigger than the other and high arches. Which makes finding work boots difficult. But, I really loved these boots at first. They looked awesome, fit well, were light weight, and relatively comfortable. The arch support was not quite enough for me. So I bought some different insoles. From there it felt like I had assembled the perfect boots. The break in was pretty easy too. After just 2 or 3 weeks I noticed a small tear on one tongue where the material is sewn together. It has gotten much worse over time. And the laces were starting to look worn. Just this morning, after 2 months, one lace snapped. These boots would have been 5 stars if the quality was better. I may have to switch back to timberlands.

    Tongue fabric is tearing

    1

The look and fit of these boots is great. They're comfortable and didn't take long to break in. BUT after barely a month of use, the tongue fabric is tearing. Keen uses a light synthetic fabric probably for cost reduction and comfort but at the seam where the leather meats the synthetic fabric these boots are already tearing. Definitely not what you'd expect for $160 boots and a month of use.

Good leather nice toe box. Good sole. Comfortable

The seam on the tongue rubs the ankle bone. Design uses a horizontal seam but should use a single piece of leather and a second vertical strip sewn over the top to add heft in the same manner as the horizontal seam on the tongue.

So I'm tryin out these boots...

Haven't been able to wear them to work yet just breaking them in walking around town. They are nice looking and fairly comfortable boots. I don't like how the top of the tongue rubs my shin, it is uncomfortable. Hoping that works itself out as I get them more broken in.

Great Boot - wider fit than the San Jose

    4

I really like the look of the Seattle, i just wish I would have tried them on before buying. I ordered online as I have consistently found the 9.5 wide to fit perfect on the San Jose and the San Antonio. The heel and fit around the ankle are much looser than I would have liked. Overall the boot is top quality just like everything else I have purchased from KEEN! Being on my feet all day on Concrete is really hard on my back and these boots have helped a lot.

I'm in the office, on the dock. Outside. These boots are really comfortable only took a couple of days to break in.

    Light use boots

    4

Just unboxed and the boots are true to size. The dark brown looks good and they feel pretty comfortable. I'm a Land Surveyor and these boots should be good for light duty. I don't think they would last long performing any task in the woods or swamp ( most boots don't). Time Will tell.

    Excellent Boot!

I've owned these boots these boots for four months now and I have zero complaints. I work in foodservice and have gone through five pairs of shoes in five years. I've spent up to $80 on a pair of really good non slip shoes but they always fall apart within 6 months. Finally I bought a pair of high top non slips from Keen that I loved but had to retire them after a year because my chef pointed out that they did not fit business regulation (only because of the color). I expect the laces to fall apart before the boot does just like my previous keens. Though my boots get wet nearly every day my feet stay dry and there is no sign of deterioration. Pros: -Comfortable (I wear these to do chores outside like firewood too) -Sturdy -Look great -Waterproof Cons: -A little pricy (although I expect these boots will last long enough to pay for themselves from not having to buy other shoes more often) -A bit heavy (This would be expected for boots that have a hardened toe) I'm a very happy owner of my (third) pair of Keens. I would buy this boot again but I don't expect that to be for a long while.
