  • Comfortable. Poor Quality Control

    1

I bought these shoes and quickly noticed how comfortable they were. For some reason my right shoe felt funny. I took them off and placed them on a flat surface and quickly noticed that the entire right shoe leans inward. I was able to get these warrantied, and reluctantly ordered another pair( the are the most comfortable safty shoes I have owned). Im just a little irritated/ disappointed with the whole experience, the shoe store I purchased them at is a 1.5 hour round trip from my house I have to go there to pick up my new shoes when they arrive (3 total trips 4.5 hrs drive time). Keen needs to focus on quality control.

I purchased the comp toe version in March of 2018. Instantly comfortable. I work as a machinist on concrete 10-12 hours a day. I've had a dozen Keens as my everyday shoe but never for my industrial footwear previously. They kept my feet comfortable throughout the day and not nearly as hot as my Wolverines or my Doc Marten's. BUT, the mesh that keeps the foot cooler also isn't rugged enough to stand up to constant repetitive kneeling in an industrial environment. Thankfully I have not experienced any of the sole issues previously posted. My pair are currently covered in spray foam, polyester putty, wood dust & chips and aluminum chips and I still wear them to the shop when I know that there is a good chance that they will receive more of the same.

    Comfortable and stylish!

I find theses San Antonio's boots extremely comfortable and light weight. As black work boots with a white trim, they hold off showing how much dirt are on them. Very well. They clean up nice and look good on my feet. A very stylish pair of boots. I am pleased with them I actually thought of buying another pair, for back up.

    Not happy at all

First pair of Keen work boots and I am not impressed at all. Bought these from a local retailer. They were comparable in price with other name brand boots. Thought i would try Keen because they were comfortable, light, and other co-workers was familiar with Keen boots. But after only 6 months, these boots are shot. There are holes in the mesh sections due to shoe flex and bending. The leather is still in decent shape along with the sole, but the mesh along the sides have holes in them. I am very disappointed in this first pair of Keens I have tried.

Sole coming off as described in other reviews!

    2

The boots are light weight which I like but the soles are coming off as other stated in their reviews. The material at the bend point of the toe is also wearing out. The boots have mesh but which should allow them to breath more but the boots donatar to smell if you wear them every day. This is the second keen boot I will be filling a warranty on due to coming apart which I shouldn't be! Customer service and warranty is good but like I said, I should have to be with a high priced boot. I am still waiting for them to bring back the Glendale Boot which were great and were extremely liked, I didn't not have any issues with those but for some reason they discontinued making them even with great ratings, not too smart! After discontinuing the Glendale, Keen has yet to offer a similar wedge soled boot, why?

These are great, but run a bit large.

These are literally my warehouse work shoes, plus a little bit of bike riding. After 2 weeks, so far, I love them. Lightweight and comfortable. However, they do run a bit large. I swapped in my super feet insoles, but still a bit more room than my Saltzmans. Thinking about exchanging for a half size smaller....

I work in a warehouse on my feet the whole time. They were comfortable for the first 2 months.after that the sole started peeling off and extremely uncomfortable. So bad as they make my knees and back hurt extremely bad.
