This durable, comfortable hiking boot will take you anywhere, whatever the weather. Two types of insulation cut the chill, and the outsole is designed to holds its ground in icy, slick conditions.

  • 200g KEEN.Warm insulation
  • Gaiter ring hook
  • KEEN.Dry waterproof breathable membrane
  • TRAPOLATOR™ underfoot insulation system

We've carefully selected leather uppers designed to last. Then again, if you're wearing your KEENs daily, they won't always be scuff and dirt-free. To treat day to day wear and tear, especially on lighter color leathers, we recommend using a leather cleaner and conditioner, found at most footwear dealers and/or shoe repair shops.

I got these boots a little over a year ago and they broke in very easily and have proven to be a very comfortable, warm and sturdy boot. I am at 240lbs and was at 300 when I got them so I have put some pressure on these over the past year on many single day and several multiple day hikes and trips. They have performed very well and with weak ankles have given me good support on all terrains. I love these for snowshoeing and even though they are more of a cold weather boot have been very comfortable through summer hikes with the right socks on. Alas the right boot leather upper has started to separate from the sole at the front outer ball ridge of the sole and the left eyelet leather band has had the stitching start to fail. Thus both boots now leak. Not a lot but enough that I will not use these for any cold wetter hikes anymore. I will be talking to the place I purchased them to see if they can help otherwise these boots will be retired to dryer and warmer hikes. See what I get next.

I've been buying Keens for over 10 years now, and this is the first time I've been disappointed. When the first generation Revel came out, I loved the boot so much that I bought 2 additional pairs right upfront, knowing the day would come when they would be discontinued. Now, on my last pair, i decided to try out the Revel III. Yes, the basic design may be the same; However, this new revision has absolutely ZERO ankle support. The fabric itself around the ankle is a lot softer than the original Revel, and has also lost the leather reinforcement. The top back edge of the has also been 'notched', allowing for even less support. Finally, the lack of additional panels and stitching throughout the body of the boot makes it very plain looking. God, how I loved the original Revel. I was such an attractive, supportive boot. I plan to return these Revel IIIs to the retailer I purchased from, and will now have to find a new manufacturer. So long Keen.

Comments about KEEN Men's Revel III:

This will be my second pair. These boots are very comfortable and warm they have excellent grip climbing on ice and snow. I climbed Mt Marcy in the middle of the winter in driving snow -25f with no issues. Have done many 30-40 mile backcountry backpacking trips in below zero temps. They have a great clip up front for snow shoes or gators. very durable and dry out easy at night.

Comments about KEEN Men's Revel III:

I bought these boots two weeks ago and they didn't need a break-in. They are light, comfy, warm, and keep my feet dry on urban hikes in the snow- there is about 30 cm. on the ground- Can't wait to try them snowshoeing. They have a big toe box so my wide feet are happy. They only con so far is that they don't accept orthotics, otherwise I would give them a five star rating.

Right out of the box, Super-Comfortable and easy in and out. Outside, very warm and good grip on ice and snow. I have several pairs of winter boots from Timberland to Northface to Vasque, These are by far the most comfortable to walk in from outdoors to indoors, will be wearing these all thru the Winter and Wet days as well. Super Happy with the purchase and value in this boot. Would highly recommend these to anyone looking for a Winter Hiker.

    Great wide fitting boots.

Comments about KEEN Men's Revel III:

I just picked up a set of these today, they were the only boots I could find that fit my wide feet. Even though these aren't classified by Keen with the wide label, they are designed for a wide foot in mind. They have great traction on ice/snow and are really warm. They seem to be great quality and even though I hadn't heard of Keen until a week ago, I'm pretty confident that these boots are going to last me long time.
