  • Great Shoes

Once I broke them in! They are great. My feet are always dry. Unlike my Milwaukee shoes. That were very comfortable but the waterproof wears out. I have had the Mt Vernon for a year. Wearing them for work outdoors and Indoors have held up great! The only down side is the speed laces! Nothing speedy About un lacing them! Other than that looking at buying a second parr!

    Poor quality for the money!

Wear these boots working in a factory on concrete floors. Was not comfortable from day one but thought they would break in. The inserts are very thin and cheap and under the inserts are not flat theirs a ridge or a high spot on the arch that I can feel. And why are the shoe strings so long? Should've took them back. But now I'm stuck with them. I know I can file a complaint but what a hassle! Not a $190.00 shoe.

    I would buy these again.

Terrific boot except for inaccurate sizing

    5

I use the boot for work and leisure. Love the quality and craftsmanship. Unfortunately, the size 12 runs a bit small- my toes are touching the front inside of the boot. This causes extreme discomfort. I am a true size 12, so it is nothing to do with ordering the wrong size for my feet.

I love my Keen Mt. Vernon boots!

I have Morton's neuromas in both of my feet. I have tried every boot on the market from Chippewas to Redwings. These boots are the most comfortable hands down! The break in period is non existent, and they are super durable... I have used the same pair for 3 years doing construction and I just bought a backup pair. Also I wear these to go hiking... I hike 15 miles in a day, and I have significantly less fatigue with the Mt. Vernon's. I love these boots!!! Don't stop making them PLEASE!!!

    A slip in quality control.

I love the look of the boot but had to return them due to a poor selection of leather (extremely thin) on one side panel The other 3 sides were fine. Keens also tend to run a little wide, however I take up that extra room with inserts and that works well for me.

4 star review with minor flaws

    4

This is a solid boot for the money. I've used keen boots in the past and they do not disappoint. With that being said, I have two issues. First, the most annoying, small heel cushion insert always ends up detaching from the boot insole for whatever reason I believe has to do with articulation and sweat build up causing cushion to wear itself loose. Second, and not necessarily a bad thing, the laces have a lace hooking shape causing the laces to stay put but I would do without this feature because it makes taking one's shoes off difficult. As with the outer sole, leather material, and reinforced rubber toe these are features I've come to know and love. I would recommend these boots to any coworker.

    Well made boot.

Great so far, light and comfortable. The laces are way to long for the boot. I am 6'1" and the laces come up to my waist before I fully tie them. What do I do with 2' of extra laces?

    Exactly what I expected

Best boots I have ever owned!

    5

This is the 4th pair of Keen"s that I have owned. As in the past there was little breakin required for this boot to be comfortable.. The top was a little stiff for the first day of wearing but limbered up fairly quickly. I have a high instep so there is some tightness getting the boot on but once my foot is in all is good. A couple small suggestions, The tab on the back of the boot should be a loop so a finger could be used to pull the boot on. The existing one is too small and no help in slipping the boot on. Second, the boot laces are wayyyy too long. I would and have recommended your boots to others.
