We've been wearing this boot model for going on 4 years now. My step dad and I are both blacksmiths. We fry boots fast. However, our Milwaukee's have held up great. Many times, we rub through the toe from kneeling down and welding, but with KEEN Protect toes they resist the holes that the concrete tries to chew in them! The steel toe holds its purpose, I've dropped a lot of heavy steel on my feet and I've still got all 10 toes. I really like the material between the lacing and the toe, it's a really tough rubber substance. We've got plenty of burns, but no burn through!

The biggest selling factor of this style for us is that they're so comfortable. I sold shoes for many years (before the blacksmith gig) and these are the most supportive and comfortable work boots I've ever worn. We do a lot of standing and walking. My step-dad has had his feet broken numerous times from horses stomping on them and these boots give him no issue.

I began wearing this boot for work as an electrician in March 2015. I was a fan of the boot until November 2015 when out of the blue the sole of the right boot tore away from the leather upper all the way from the back of the heel to the front of my arch. Leaving my foot unprotected from water, dirt, and on the job hazards. I mostly work inside, never with chemicals, solvents, oils, or concrete products. The boot completely failed at the welt, hardly what I would call "incredibly durable". This boot may look burley, but in my experience it was pretty weak. It certainly did not "hang in for the long haul" as Keen said it would. $160 for a boot that lasts 8 months you can decide for yourself if this product is worth it. On a positive note they were comfortable while they lasted.

Comments about Men's Milwaukee 6" (Steel Toe):

I have had several pairs of these boots over the years. I have bad feet. Keen is the only brand I can wear. This last pair started coming apart on the insole after three months. I called keen, they gave me full credit for a new pair of boots.

Best wearing longest lasting boots I've found yet. No insoles needed the entire time, only replacing today because of a small hole between sole and body at flex point. _Ÿ'ç
