Very comfortable boot. I drive Dump trucks and operate heavy equipment. We haven't started our main construction yet , when we do, they will see lots of mud, I will write another review at the end of October.

I have had two pairs of these boots in the last year they have really lasted me a long time the only thing that I have come across that is where the Black Toe protector comes in on the side the soul is starting to split their other than that they're the greatest boots I have worn.

Starting off as a good work boot. Takes a while to break them in but once you get there you're good. Agree with most that the laces are garbage. Had mine for a week and the aglet has already come off. Just going to purchase after market laces with metal on the end.

I hope Keen can improve this product, it's almost perfect.

I am on my second pair of these boots and I found them to be the most comfortable steel toe boots on the market, bar none! Unfortunately they have a serious flaw that is driving me nuts! The soft vinyl padded area at the top of the heel is flimsy and quickly separates from the leather. I keep wearing the boots after this happens, but dirt, debris, and small stones get into the boot through this opening and then I have to stop and remove my boot to get the stone out, as it is now trapped between the leather and the inner liner. Please consider a more durable material in this area, it ruins an otherwise outstanding boot. See photos.
Also I did have issues with the rubber tread/cleats shredding and coming apart on my first pair, but that was after 2 years of extremely hard use in sharp, rocky environments, so its to be expected.
And, like others have noted, the eyelets have sharp edges, leading to prematurely broken laces.
I may try other Keen work boots in the future, all of their products seem quite comfortable.
I wear my Keen sandals all summer long! Just not at work.

    Cons

    • Shoddy design and workmanship

    Best Uses

I paid just over $200 for these boots after taxes in March 2017. The fit and comfort was great. Similar to Jordan the Electrician (post 11-5-2017) the laces frayed after about a month. Not a big deal. The big deal was New Year's Eve, 2017, when the entire sole came off the right boot at the start of my shift. (Jordan's sole separated from his left boot) I have been buying safety toe boots for 40 years, and I don't mind spending money for a good pair. The shoddy construction of these boots is inexcusable for the price I paid.

      Best boot I have owned

      By

      from Tucson AZ

I have owned many different brands of boots. This one stands above the rest because of the covered toe. The sole won't pull away from the upper and the steel toe will never show through because of the way the toe is built. I've had 6 pairs. Not looking back. Only weakness is the laces. Thank you Keen!!!

Comments about Men's Milwaukee 6" (Steel Toe):

My first pair was used in the oil field they were comfortable for being on your feet all day. My feet are very sensitive being a diabetic I have to choose shoes wisely. They outlasted other brands I've tried. This pair I recently purchased will be used in the concrete supply buisness moving rebar and concrete product that are heavy. My toes are constantly getting assulted. I recommend keen to everyone that asks me what I think about good work boots.
