This is my first pay of Keen boots. I have always worn Timberland Pros and loved them but decided to try the Keen Milwaukee"s after going to a going to a promotional event. Boots broke in quickly and are comfortable while being on my feet at jobsites all day. The only complaint I have is I keep breaking laces. It seems like monthly if not sooner. Nothing frustrates a person more than having a lace break at 5 a.m. when you are trying to get out the door.

I work for a Utility company in New York with more than 19,000 employees and we get recommendations from the company for the best boots. Based on this I purchased my Milwaukee but after a few months of use the stitching is coming apart. It will be great if they can be fixed since I really like them.

Not sure I would buy again

Comments about KEEN Men's Milwaukee Waterproof (Steel Toe):

I really like these boots. Very conformable, and light weight. I have had these boots for 9 months now, and I do take care of them, but where the sole meets the rubber toe, it has started to separate making the boots no longer waterproof. Im not so much worried about the waterproofing , but I really wanted them to last longer, and @ $175. I think there's probably other boots out there that will last longer. Still on the fence about getting another pair... Would I recommend to a friend..... If he only plans to keep them for about 1 yr, sure, BC I don't think they would last any longer

    So far so good.

Comments about KEEN Men's Milwaukee Waterproof (Steel Toe):

I change some of the biggest tire around. I'm in every type of terrain especially crushed limestone. 2 months in I would have soles that looked like a cheese grater got them. These boots are tiff. Laces on other hand may look nice but not strong enuff. Murphy's Law. Snap Monday at 5am. Other than that . Time will tell. So far better than the Tacomas.

Comments about KEEN Men's Milwaukee Waterproof (Steel Toe):

Definitely the most comfortable pair of boots I have ever owned. I've had my pair for over 3 years. i wear them to work and out around town and even hiking. I even had a rattlesnake bite the toe and never felt it, (thank you steel toe, you saved my life). Needless to say, I am saving up to buy the brown pair, just to have some diversity. But I know that when I get that 2nd pair, it will last me 3-4 years as well. Thank you KEEN for making such an amazing boot!!!

for the price, not worth it

      By

Comments about KEEN Men's Milwaukee Waterproof (Steel Toe):

Lasted about 6 months before the sole started to fall off. The stitching around the sole was coming off within the first few months this is when they were no longer water proof. The protective rubber on the top of the toe is cracking and peeling. I could have gone with CAT or sketchers for half the price and gotten better quality. I had to turn in my receipt to be partiality reimbursed by my company, so I no longer have the receipt for the day of purchase for any kind of warranty. I paid $200 at cabela's, and expected a bit more for the price tag. Only thing that was going for them is they were very comfortable.
