Side cutouts ventilate this versatile, light-duty work boot. A dual-density midsole adds cushioning, and a stability shank provides the support you need for long days on your feet.

  • Contoured heel lock
  • Left and right asymmetrical steel toe
  • Meets or exceeds ASTM F2412-11 and F2413-11 I/75 C/75 EH standards
  • Torsional Stability Shank (TSS)

We've carefully selected leather uppers designed to last. Then again, if you're wearing your KEENs daily, they won't always be scuff and dirt-free. To treat day to day wear and tear, especially on lighter color leathers, we recommend using a leather cleaner and conditioner, found at most footwear dealers and/or shoe repair shops.

I work for a local electric utility - both indoors and out - on concrete, up ladders, in the grass, on the streets, up in a bucket truck. I am very picky about my work boots and I like these a lot. I have purchased two pair so far. They feel good right from the start. They are light and breathable - you can feel a breeze blow through the mesh, helping your feet keep cool. They never pinch or feel constricting. They aren't for the muck, but I wear these from spring through autumn for light to medium duty work. The only thing I don't care for is that the top lace seems too high and after I wear them for a little while the laces slip up over the top of the boot. I wish Keen would lower the eyelet or lengthen the tongue. But I will continue to buy these boots.

after reading the reviews I can't help but wonder what is wrong with my boots. After 4 months of wear I am getting chipping in the outsole, massive compression on the right boot so much that the steel toe is raised up and pinching my toes, and also the seems in the heel are starting to open up. I own eight pair of keen. I have bought nothing else for the last 6 years. This pair of boots has been a serious disappointment

I am very impressed with the comfort of the shoe. I do construction work and they don't bother your feet after a long day of work. I would buy them again.

Comments about KEEN Men's Flint Mid (Steel Toe):

I’m a pretty big runner, (not too fast but +1000 miles a year) so I hate to miss a work out. Today I was about half way through my 50 mile commute and realized I was still in my house slippers, I forgot to put on my running shoes. Since I didn’t want to miss a day I decided I’d try to get in a couple miles in my work shoes, Keen Men's Flint Mid Steel Toe. I’ve always liked them but never considered running in them. Long story short after a couple miles I decided to complete my scheduled five miler in my work boots. It was a pretty good run, but I’ll remember my running shoes in the future.

        PROS--

First thing I noticed when holding this boot was that it's soo light weight!! My toes have plenty of room to wiggle within the steel toe section. Hands down, the most comfortable steel toe I've ever worn.

        CONS--

When you squat down to your ankles you can feel the steel toe dig into your foot. I'm hoping this will loosen up with time being that it's right around the area where the laces start.... I hope that made sense lol.
