  • ....would not consider buying Keen again

The only reason keeping me from giving this boot 1-Star or 2-Stars is because it still made domestically. I purchased my first pair of Keen Boots (Concord series steel toe) via Cabela's back in late February 2018 and it took me a trip around Walt Disney World and a few weeks after to break them in. After nine months I've noticed the synthetic overlay that covers the fabric tearing and separating. Also I've noticed that the fabric upper is wearing out a lot faster than the rest of the boot (I/E the sole, the toe cap, and heel cap). I typically purchase steel toe Dr. Martens, which I usually get at least 3-4 years out of. I was trying to buy domestic for a change. I would like my boots a lot more if the materials used were a lot more durable (maybe an all leather upper instead of fabric for starters).

    Not a good boot.

Purchased these boots back in February. It took me over a month to break them in. During that time, the boots caused my Achilles tendon to swell, leaving me limping. After healing, I started to like to boots, then noticed the rubber material quickly coming off. Then I noticed the fabric separating from the sole on the right boot. Just seems poorly made all around. However, I just contacted Keen Warranty and they have been great. They took care of the warranty and I ordered new boots today.

I would not recommend this boot to anyone.

I am a surveyor that thought these boots would be great for hiking in the woods and on long distances. The boot has ripped on the side which are no longer "waterproof" and I've only had the boots for 3 months. Very disappointed with the performance of the boot. Will not buy again.

I would buy these boots again.

    5

They are so far the most comfortable boots I've owned. They also have a stand up warranty.

    I would advise against these.

I work on the ramp of an airport in Washington state, this means rain, and a lot of it. I bought these boots in June hoping I would get at least a year of use from them. It is now September and they have already been replaced. Granted, they are comfortable, however, the bottoms wore out mid August with severe cracking of the soles. Making them as useful in the rain as just working in my socks. The top big toe portion of the left boot couldn't last through a few weeks of shifting on my motorcycle without coming off. All in all, Keen makes an alright boot. This pair just is not one of them.

This is a great boot. Extremely comfortable with plenty of toe room. So far it is taking my rough ways with no scratching or marring.

I would like to try something different

    1

The soles are peeling off already only 2 weeks old. They are not water proof either.

    Love these boots

    5

Love my new boots. No break-in time. Comfortable as soon as I put them on.

I will always buy KEEN boots and suggest to everyone

    5

Amazing boots, comfortable from the moment I put them on. The only problem I have found so far is laced don't last long I have had them for about a month now and just yesterday bought a new pair. Customer service was amazing seeing how these were exchanges.
