I have a picky boyfriend. Takes him months to buy anything... for reals! We started dating over two years ago. I'm a practical gift giver. Two Christmas's ago I went out and bought him these boots. He swears by his "Asolo" boots by the way?... He thinks if you pay a alot for boots that they're going to be the best? Ha, not true!... His Asolo's looked tired and haggered. He didn't even get a years use out of them. He was a good sport and is still wearing his Keen's. He LOVES them! Says the best boots he's ever worn! They hold up to the worst elements and weather conditions. The man is outside working everyday. It almost two years later and I think he's ready for a new pair. He boots have a whole in one of then from a slip with the chainsaw. He wasn't hurt at all. They're covered in spray paint, mud, and they look ready to be retired. He climbs trees in these and they're a bit ruffed up. The soles are starting to seperate from the boot where his arch's are. They're still holding up tho and he's not ready to part with them yet. All in all. He's very impressed these boots. He's been logging for over 20 years now these are the boots for him. He says they're very comfortable even when sitting in the car driving. He always has them on even when he's not working. I'm going to get him another pair. I'll just hide them until he's ready to part with the pair he has now. Super awesome boots. Please, keep making these boots for the man I love. Makes me happy to share a product I've been using for years with the people I love. Thank you for making a great product that holds up.

The boots were comfortable. My praise stops there however. After little more than 4 months of normal to light wear and tear 2 of the lace retention devices as keen likes to call them have broken. One pooped straight out of the leather on the side of the boot and another one of the hooks broke clean off. After contacting keen about warranty I learned that they don't cover lace retention devices. I did some digging and found that I am not the only one to deal with this problem so it now comes as no surprise that they aren't covered. Very disappointed that such a reputable company won't back up their products. I won't ever make a purchase from keen again

My first Keen purchase and not my last.

Comments about KEEN Men's Cleveland (Steel Toe):

These things are comfortable. I've worn Ariats for the past few years and lately they started killing my feet. I've had the Keen's for over a week and they get better feeling as I wear them. I have high arches and usually have to buy a replacement insole right off the bat but not with my Keen Cleveland steel toes. I hope to have a long relationship with this company. True to size in length and width.

    Best boots I ever owned

    By

    from Orlando FL

Comments about KEEN Men's Cleveland (Steel Toe):

I was hesitant to spend $175 on a pair of boots but it was that or see a foot doctor and spend more. My feet hurt so bad by the end of the day I couldn't walk on them when I got home. So, I decided to look into a good pair of boots. I went back and forth for two days before I could part with the money. It was the best money I have spent. I had no more foot pain and the boots were very comfortable and quiet walking. After two years the sole started coming apart but I shouldn't complain after 10-12 hour days up to 7 days a week. The cap toe was very good because of the amount of time I spend kneeling for my work, that wears out the toe very quickly on other boots. I do a lot of welding and the all leather and metal lace loops and the design prevented any sparks from getting into the boot. Unfortunately, I needed a new pair of boots when I was going out of town because of the sole flapping, and no one had a pair of these available so I had to buy a Caterpillar boot. Next time it will be Keen.
