  • Keen produces better boots

I wore for two days and they were so hard on my feet. I put new insoles in because I noticed the ones that come in them are super thin. I am having a little better luck with the different insoles but not extremely happy. The Milwaukee boots I had before were amazing up til 8 months of wearing then they started hurting my feet. Actually thought of sending the Baltimores back

not up to the keen standard

I bought these boots over a year ago because of the style. They broke in well and were very comfortable for an extended period of time. They do not breath very well, which is expected due to the materials. The major issue I have is the shank in the right boot bent and the steel toe now rubs on the top of my feet. I have 2 other pairs of steel toes from Keen that are far older and I have never had any issues other than the laces. This product just didn't hold up like I would expect them to for the money.

    Light duty boots at best

    1

I have worn Keen work boots exclusively for 10 years. These are by far the worst pair I have owned. The lugs on soles started shearing and tearing off in chunks after just a couple months of use. The left boot has a crack right through the sole. My last pair of Glendale boots lasted 2 years without any issues. These Blatimore boots are not up to the Keen build and material quality that I have come to expect. I am relying on the Keen warranty to make this right.

The boot it's self is very comfortable straight out the box..I have been using the boots mon-fri 8-10 hours a day and I stand all day ive had them for 1 year and a month now ONLY MINOR COMPLAINT is for some reason they are no longer waterproof other than that they hold up very well and still look great

Manufacturer Defect; not covered under warranty.

    1

Manufacturer Defect; not covered under warranty. The sole on my boots split(see photo) with about 8 months of very light use. Keen refused to honor their 1 year warranty. There are multiple reviews on online stating the same issue. Pretty obvious its a manufacturer defect. The boots look good, and are comfortable enough. The do not breathe well at all, thus resulting in heat being trapped in the boot. If you're looking for a high quality, durable boot - this is not it, and don't count on Keen to cover any defects.

    Stitching is horrible

    2

I tried so much to like the boot. Unfortunately did not meet expectations. I think they should redesign the heel portion of the boot. The inside stitching is too low and rubs on the back of the heel causing a lot of pain has anyone else encountered this problem? I feel the right boot is smaller than the left. Unfortunately I threw away my old boots so I'm trying so hard to like these boots. I've only had these boots for 3 days now. Also I feel my left sock gets wet. Don't know if it's sweat or from water. Enough of my complaints. I would not recommend the Baltimore boot. I may . give Keen boot one last try. Or anyone have better recommendations for boots?

    Most Comfortable Keens I Own

    5

I purchased these early Spring 2018. My first pair had a weird overlapping seam under the ball of my foot, exchanged them out no problem. I ended up getting my normal boot size but got the thickest insole keen sells to make up for my ankle swimming in these boots. Super comfortable ever since! These boots look very professional. My only dislike for the boots is how quickly the rubber soles started breaking away in chunks mostly on my heels and the tip of the boot. It has not effected how I walk or the comfort. It's more of a cosmetic dislike, but heck, it's not like anyone sees it. My boots make noise towards the top by the tongues. Usually that noise goes away after getting broken in, but this one did not. Again, not a deal breaker by any means. I work in a factory with metal gratings, stairs, ladders, cement floors, wooden floors, metal inclines, and conveyor belt. Love these boots!
