I work in construction and have worn this boot for about 6 months. The boot took about a week - two weeks to break in but is very comfortable afterwards. The boot grips very well on anything from concrete to mud to plywood on a roof. The soles do however hold a lot of dirt so be cautious when entering a clients home. Abrasion resistance is good against nails and the toe protectors keep your toe ends from coming unglued. They are waterproof and somewhat breathable, about as breathable as a waterproof boot gets. The only reason the boot gets 4 stars is because the soles are very soft. I read it in other reviews but just thought they were rough on them. I've had a few pieces of the sole tear off around the edges and others rip. It does not effect the boot or take away from its attributes but it does suck to have lungs torn off a new boot. I will also add that even though they say different other insoles will work with this boot. I have a pair of Georgia boots insoles in them now which improved the comfort quote a bit.
