COVID-19 Crisis: Together We Can Help

Together, nothing will stop us. Thank you for helping us send free KEEN shoes to people on the front lines and families in need. In one of the most challenging weeks any of us have faced, we pulled together to get 100,000 pairs of shoes to those who need them most. We are truly humbled by the endless display of love and compassion you have shown in this effort. Thank you to our fans and community for supporting one another through these difficult times!
We want to keep the love going. To continue our Together We Can Help initiative, we recently converted a production line at our factory in Thailand to make face masks, and we handed out 100,000 KEEN masks to more everyday heroes, like Fred Meyer grocery store clerks and their families. As the world adjusts, wearing masks in public will be an important part of keeping each other safe.
Why We Did This
In 2003, when we started KEEN, we made two promises to ourselves: 1) KEEN will reflect our personal and family values, and 2) We will be more responsible citizens of the planet, embrace other cultures and ideas, and make a positive contribution.
Today, the world is facing the COVID-19 virus, a pandemic that has advanced rapidly, shutting down global capitals and causing loss of life on nearly every continent. With large swaths of the population forced into seclusion, the economic and human costs are rising.
We understand shoes may not be a priority for some, but making shoes that help people get outside and get the job done is what we do best – it’s the unique skill we bring to the world.
So in keeping with the original promises we made when we started this company, we made a pledge to provide up to 100,000 pairs, about $10,000,000 in shoes, to the workers on the front lines and the families at home fighting through the crisis. Whether these shoes help a worker stay comfortable during a long shift or simply allow people to get outside to breathe in the benefits of nature while safely practicing social distancing, we felt compelled to share our strengths for the common good.
While this program has come to a close, we remain dedicated to finding ways to work together and help support each other through these challenging times. Stay tuned!
How We're Taking Action to Protect our Fans, Staff, and Community
The COVID-19 situation is constantly changing, but we remain focused on one thing: supporting each other and keeping everyone safe. Our fans, including our employees and partners, are what make KEEN so special, and we are in this together. We hope you are staying healthy while finding ways to enjoy fresh air responsibly.
Ordering from KEEN: While we have temporarily closed our KEEN Garage retail locations in the U.S., our KEEN HQ staff is working remotely until June 15, and we are here to continue to support you with online orders and any questions you have at keenfootwear.com.
Shipping: We are taking additional measures to minimize risk to KEEN team members at our Fan Engagement Center to continue to safely ship shoes, and our order processing and shipping may be slightly delayed. Orders are currently shipping within 2-4 business days (Monday - Friday, except major holidays).
Returns: In Canada, we’re offering an extended return policy during this time, up to 60 days from your order date (30 days elsewhere). Please set up your return as soon as you’ve had a chance to try your KEEN shoes on. Once that’s done, the return label will be good through 60 days from your order date. If you need to set up your return, please feel free to reach out to us at email@example.com. It is a busy time for us, so response may be delayed. We appreciate your patience during this time.
From the beginning, we’ve made shoes to make a difference – to make a positive impact while connecting to the world around us. Those connections to the outdoors and each other look a little different right now for all of us, but they are more important than ever. We hope you are able to find a moment to reset and recharge right in your backyard and with the people you care about as we help each other get through this.
