These were very good until the loop that holds the lace at the top broke, and so did the lace. I've had a similar experience with other Keens. The bungee laces are good for kids, but they really need to be threaded through a hole in the shoe itself, rather than through loops, or the loops need to be much tougher. Replacement laces should also be available. It's very frustrating as it makes the shoe unwearable, even though it has not worn out, and my son has not grown out of it, and these shoes are expensive. They only lasted three months.
