Why do manufacturers make boots/shoes narrower each time they update the model?! I was delighted to have found in the Targhee 2 boot, a comfortable fit for my wide feet. I would have willingly bought them again when I came to replace them but Keen moved on and released the Targhee 3. So I tried them but found after a couple of weeks I developed severe pain in my right foot because these boots were restricting my foot spreading once it warmed up. I am so disappointed, because everything else about the boot is a winner! I even tried to have them stretched by a shoemaker, but they still hurt. So I have had to abandon my almost new pair of boots and look around for another brand with a truly wide fit, which isn't easy to find. I am convinced Keen should have stuck to making a truly wide boot because they are so hard to find. You got it right in the Targhee 2 - so why change a winning combination by making the Targhee 3 narrower? Meanwhile I continue to wear my worn out Targhee 2's - even with holes in them!
