The shoes are strong and look good. However, I could only wear them once on my walk (which what these new Keen shoes has been designed for) which is why I bought them for in the first place. The issue: TWO blisters halfway through my walk. One on the back heel and one on the left small toe side. I didn't wear any socks so that could have been the problem. I did find a stitch on the inside of the left shoe which was protruding onto the left toe and could have caused that blister. I have to let the blisters heal before I can wear them again. It's frustrating to wait but I'm anxious to try them once more. It's sad as my prior Keen sandals never had any blister issues. If the blisters don't return I'm sure the new shoes will be great. Amazing Fit

I've worn regular cycling shoes for the last 37 years, but found the last pair at a Sheels store in ND in 2016. Yes they were quite snug when I put them on with minor pressure on the sides of my baby toe. I broke them in slowly during that summer/fall, riding only every 3 or 4 days with them. Eventually they broke in and feel amazing. I find even my foot alignment is better with these too, some I've never had with regular shoes.

I purchased my Commuters in 2016, and have since logged several thousand miles in them. Most of the miles were training and/or commuting to or from work (35 miles one-way), but I also did a multi-day 230ish mile ride a short time ago. To put it simply, these shoes (sandals) are awesome for biking. Mine are a half size larger from my norm, but fit my wide feet very comfortably. Previously, I've worn various brand and types of bike specific shoes, but these have turned out to be my favorite. Although some will balk at the idea of socks with sandals, I normally wear them with short socks (the main purpose to avoid them smelling like a goat's bum). I have, however l, worn them sans-socks, and they are equally as comfortable with or without the added cushioning. When I finally get around to doing some serious bike touring, these will certainly be the shoe of choice. They're easy to walk around in while off the bike, and do not have the obvious look of many bike specific shoes. Their versatility is awesome: sandals (no socks), shoes (with socks - adds cushion, plus a little warmth), shoes with covers (and socks - cold weather or rain), or shoes with waterproof socks (warmth and weather protection). I use mine with Time ATAC pedals/cleats, and while they don't match my SIDI road shoes regarding the firm connection to the bike, that is not their purpose. I recently did some desert trail riding (mountain biking) wearing an older pair of SIDI Dominators, and actually wished I had worn the Keens. I find them to be that good.
