Wanted to like them, they are comfy and ventilate really well. I bought these for lighter day hikes when my backpacking boots were overkill. I'm an outdoor professional and have owned many boots. I have never seen the soles on a pair of boots start to disintegrate so quickly! Usually with quicker wearing soles you get a stickier, grippier rubber, but I've found these very slippery on moist/wet surfaces. Also, the tongue is too short and bunches up very oddly at the top of the laces. The laces sometimes even slip overtop of the tongue cause if them to dig into your ankle! Unfortunately I believe I have waited too long to return these boots, but I seek to warn others to avoid these boots for durability and build issues. After the little use I've given them (~a dozen wears, 3 of those times on actual hikes) I'm very unimpressed by the durability.
