Good cool weather hiker
Have used these boots as an everyday boot , including winter walks on streets and trail. Just did an hour walk in -20c ( - 23 c with wind chill) on snow-packed streets and although my feet got a touch cool, they were not cold, which I think is very good for only having a mesh liner (note - I wore a single pair of medium thickness athletic sock). So I would suggest a cold rating of -15 c for this light hiker. Quite comfortable, although I did notice I could feel the individual lugs of the sole in the very cold walk. Traction is good even on ice ( I tried purposely to skid and they gripped ok). Like the looks, especially the golden brown colour, and appreciate the hi-vis piping for night walking.
