Please choose a size!

This hiking shoe is ready for off-road adventure. Durable waterproof protection stands up to wet weather, and the luggy outsole adds traction. Please note, the leather might be a little darker than shown.

  • 4mm multi directional lugs
  • Contoured heel lock
  • KEEN.Dry waterproof breathable membrane
  • Torsion stability ESS shank

We've carefully selected leather uppers designed to last. Then again, if you're wearing your KEENs daily, they won't always be scuff and dirt-free. To treat day to day wear and tear, especially on lighter color leathers, we recommend using a leather cleaner and conditioner, found at most footwear dealers and/or shoe repair shops.

I bought these to replace a pair of Keens I bought at Dick's over three years ago. I wore those working, camping, even casual around town. When the Targhee II arrived, it was obvious that they were not like my first pair(can't recall the name, so I shopped by looks). The Targhee II is a hiking boot in a low rise, waterproof shell. I had everything ready for return until I wore them....ahhhhh! there's that fit like someone broke them in for me! Sorry, these won't be coming back but I will, looking for that (possibly Detroit style?) hard working, long lasting bad a@# shoe! KEEN, stick with the quality and attention to detail that I found in these shoes. My feet thank you- best regards Jim

    Absolutely

Walk 4 to 10 miles daily and have been wearing targhees for years and never experience any back, knee or leg problems. Best shoe ever...Do not change.

    Second Pair

    5

This is my second pair. The first pair lasted almost five years. They still had life in them, just looked a little rough. These shoes are great for hiking, hunting and everyday use. Looking forward to another five more years of great service.

Good shoe but not for my foot.

    1

In my case, had to return them for being too wide in heel and toe box. More the fault of my foot than the shoe. Customer service was great to work with.

Thought I'd try these after my Timberlands had called it quits after many years. And that's the problem. While the uppers are quite comfortable, well designed and good materials, the soles wore out after moderate use and within a short period of time. Dog walks around the soccer field and an occasional trail walk of no more than 30 minutes and trips to the market. I'd like to get another pair but I have little confidence in having a different experience. The purpose of having a shoe like this is reliability, otherwise, I'd just get a sneaker. Will be in the market but not for a Keen at this time, need to remedy the quality of the soles...

Keens are always comfortable and fit well. I own multiple pairs and like them all. Recommend them when I get the opportunity.

    5

Absolutely love my new Keens! Beat up my old ones for a year, finally had to retire them and buy a new pair...had NO break in period at all. Switched to the new ones, realized how broken down my old ones had been, and wore the new pair all day.

    Targhee II vs. III

    4

I just find the Targhee IIs much better suited to my feet than the IIIs. The fit is not the same at all. Please do not think that the IIIs are a substitute for them.
