I use these for work mainly and the weight is perfect with no break in period. I'm going to go into the Duran when colder weather hits us but in the summer fall and spring this is the perfect boot so far.

With size 7.5 for men & wide feet it is hard to find good hiking boots....I purchased from Keen direct from Keen knowing I could return them before 30 days if I didn't like them. Well I wore them for a hike 9-8-18 & they pasted the test in flying colors. My feet have never felt so good after a hike . Thank you I LOVE My keens just wish I could have gotten the Durands in 7.5 wide

    Good for outdoor work

Hiking, working outside. The first pair I received had rips in the stitching in several places. One would expect footwear for rugged outdoor use would be a bit sturdier in the stitching. Keen did replace them for free however so I was happy about that. The new pair seems to be holding up well.

I use thes boots for work, I have been wearing Keen Boots for about 8 years. Although there very comfortable, the quality of material is not going to hold up like the real leather has. The new plasticy material does not support my feet as good as some of the older boots I have had. Actually I'm quite disappointed with KEEN every time I find a boot that works for me. They have discontinued it and offer new styles that are similar and not quite as good quality.. When I first started buying keen boots the reason for my loyalty was the quality that I was purchasing I no longer feel that way.. They should remember to their loyal customers I hve spent lots of money with KEEN and now I'm getting a less qualityboot for even more money. Time to start looking elsewhere for something that fits nice and wont I have to buy 2 to 3 pair at a time to insure i have the boot I like to where. When these boots waer out I have one more brand new pair at that time I will be trying new boots from other manufacturers.

These seem to be working for my wide, gnarley old feet.

Due to elderly foot changes I have recently had a tough time finding shoes that fit. These seem to be doing the job albeit with creative lacing schemes. I have taken them out on the roads and trails around here and have even used them mountain biking. No blisters so far; I think that they will work. Perhaps the minor kinks will work themselves out when broken in.

I will not buy this boot again!!

Something inside the left boot hit the top of my foot making it painful to wear. My other Keens do not fit this way, but they were made in Oregon and not China. This boot is not breathable, I don't recommend it for summer hiking. I returned the boots.

    Get the leather version.

Well... i spend a lot of time bending, crouched etc. These boots pinched the top of toes. After a month of wearing the "leather" nearest sole is now delaminating and the rubber toe cover glue is letting go (both boots)I will have to call them to be warrantied. The sole is really thin and not robust so you can really feel the ground, and i love this part.
