Definitely comfortable if not durable
I agree with Derek's review about his hikers falling apart. I bought the same ones and mine separated at the fabric and toe box just like his - 4 months after I bought them on my first backcountry hike. I did contact the warranty program and my claim was accepted the same day - for a new pair of boots. I will continue to buy these boots for the wide foot and toe - they are soooo comfortable that (for me) it overrides the fact that other brands are probably more durable. Mine had a zero break-in period and I got zero blisters after a 75km hike. Customer service is also top notch (at least the warranty program). Not sure what keen can do about that seam where the fabric meets the oversized toe box (which I love about Keens), but I'm sure they're taking note. Thanks Keen.
