  • Great shoes

I bought these for the lake and fishing, but since its been too cold here in the Midwest, I've only worn them around the house and for yard work. These are working out great so far, comfortable, breathable and fast drying shoes. I'm looking forward to wearing them for more than yard work.

Only wore them once...fit is right on and they are very comfortable....getting ready for river trip this ....that will be the test for being wet and hiking in them.

I would have liked more color choices.

My second pair, bought for anther season of travel. The light weight and ability to slip them on and off work well for me, but I am wondering if Keen is phasing out this style in favor of Uneek styles, as colors were very limited (2). I tried a Uneek, and although my slide style works well for me as an indoor sandal, the upgrades to a shoe style did not seem to provide enough support in the uppers. With my first pair, I found that they were good for air travel and walking, but not the best for me for medium hikes: I would have liked more support in the sole for that, which of course requires a heavier shoe or boot.

    Comfortable. Happy with purchase.

Comfortable but sizing seems to run shorter and wider than previous Keens I've worn. Interested to see how durable they are long term.

Heel material is less flexible than my prior pair of Keens

    1

I purchased these to replace an older pair of Keens of similar design. I like mesh Keens w/ closed toes to wear to the work in the summer. I planned to wear these without socks, but I found the backstay too stiff and the stitching seemed to make a ridge with the material which rubbed the back of my heal. I was very fearful that they would cause a blister.

    Beware of sizing

    4

I have several pairs of Keens in the closet from hiking boots to shoes to sandals and all are size 11. For some reason I didn't believe the comments regarding sizing, I couldn't believe Keens would be that screwed up so I ordered 11's like every other pair I own. Well, I have to tell you the reviews are indeed correct; I could barely get them on. Back in the box they went, printed off the return form and ordered 12s a full size larger. The new pair arrived a week later and fit perfectly just like every other pair I own.

My wife has raved about her Keen water shoes for years, and so I decided to give them a go; I like the look and appreciate the design - only problem is the sizing. I had to return mine for a half size up. We spend a lot of time on the rocky Pacific Northwest coastline, so the design of these shoes is perfect - the soles are designed for rough terrain, there are no gaping holes for rocks to get in like other water shoes, and they handle salt water very well; and they aren't hideous/silly looking like a lot of other water shoes - we often wear these into the store on the way home.
