So far so good. I got these recently with a promo coupon that Keen sent me for a warranty claim on a pair of TARGHEE EXP WATERPROOF shoes that the right heel hard started to peel off the sole. They are quite comfortable. So long as they hold up I am a happy camper.

    Very Nice Boot

I wear Keens for hiking and Search and Rescue. Toe box needs to be wide to accommodate changes in my feet after I've been on them for hours. I have a wide foot anyway. I absolutely loved the look of this hiking boot. Sadly I did have to return, runs just a little to narrow for me.

Not the Keens that I hoped for

I am still wearing my old Keens that I enjoyed for years. My old Keens were a good fit from the start-- roomy in the toes with responsive lacing that adjusted to a sure-footed fit. These new boots are boxy and unresponsive. I do not like the fit, the lacing, or the feel of the new boots. They are treacherous on wet logs and rocks. I am giving up on Keens and will donate my new boots to someone who can use them. Right now they just take up space in my closet.

I love these boots. This is my 4th pair and my daily go to for hiking! The only thing is I wish they could be resoled.... however, Keen was kind enough to give me a 20% discount off of a new pair.

Nice boot, replaced a pair of Keen Targhees that were comfortable and provided great support, but had some sole delamination issues. Keen stood by the warranty and provided me a credit top try another pair. These are a great, comfortable and lightweight hiking shoe. So far are holding up well and no break in needed. Started walking right out of the box. No complaints. Kudos to Keen for being a stand-up company and not blowing me off when I had issues. Am very impressed with their customer service and commitment to creating return business. From my experience will say I'll buy keen again.

Hard to switch from Keen boots

These boots have lasted me about 8 months. Which is the longest any boot has ever lasted me. I am a plumber/HVAC guy and always doing work after work. I probably wear these boots 16 hrs a day. A lot of digging with them too. They are also my hiking/hunting boots as well. It doesn't take a whole lot to get them wet but wet feet doesn't bother me. They do dry quickly if they do get wet. My old pair blew out the side right where my foot bends at the toes. Laces are high quality and are still great. I did find that by the time the stitching actually blew out was right on par with the tread getting pretty low. I just bought my second pair tonight and unless I really get a lemon of a pair, I'll keep buying them. And when I was overseas, all the SEALs wore them too and loved them so I figured I'd give em a shot. The only downfall about these boots is that they seem to be super SLIPPERY on ice and not the greatest winter boot. Which they're not made for anyways so not really a downfall.

I would buy 100 pairs if...

I bought my first pair of Gypsum II Mids in June 2017. They were the most comfortable shoes I had ever worn. It was like strapping pillows to my feet but with structure and stability. I work in landscaping and spend 10 to 16 hours a day on my feet, so I wasn't too disappointed when they began to wear out after six months. I bought my second pair of Gypsums in January 2018. They didn't have quite the same softness in the sole as my first pair but I still loved them. They began to wear out after six months too, and I had no problem buying another pair if they were going to keep my feet happy. I just received my third pair and, unfortunately, they are not wearable. I noticed a rough spot on the left Achilles tendon area, and developed a blister on the first day. It appears they were poorly sewn and protruding causing the discomfort. I am reluctant to order another pair fearing I will have to wait another week to find out Keen has lost quality in the manufacturing process. So, I went down to my local sporting good store to handpick a good pair, but they only carry the Gypsum in a low top now. I tried on the Durand and the Targhee III, and the Durands have a better feel of the two, but neither are as comfortable as the Gypsum. I would buy 100 pairs of the Gypsum II if I knew I could get the same shoe I got in June 2017.
