Men's CSA Oshawa 8" Boot (Steel Toe)

C$240.00

  • Size Guide
Please choose a size! Please choose an inseam!

Outdoor style meets steel-toe performance in these waterproof work boots. An oil- and slip-resistant outsole helps keeps you focused, while the 8” collar is ideal for jobs that require full-height protection.

  • KEEN.Dry waterproof, breathable membrane
  • Left and right asymmetrical steel toe
  • Non-metallic, puncture-resistant midsole plate—CSA Certified
  • Torsional stability shank (TSS) for midfoot support
  • Cleansport NXT™ for natural odor control
  • Meets ASTM F2412-11 and F2413-11 I/75 C/75 EH standards
  • Meets CSA Z195-09 Grade 1 standards for protection

We've carefully selected leather uppers designed to last. Then again, if you're wearing your KEENs daily, they won't always be scuff and dirt-free. To treat day to day wear and tear, especially on lighter color leathers, we recommend using a leather cleaner and conditioner, found at most footwear dealers and/or shoe repair shops.

  • KEEN.Dry
A proprietary waterproof, breathable membrane that lets vapor out without letting water in.
  • Metatomical Footbed Design
This internal support mechanism is anatomically engineered to provide excellent arch support and cradle the natural contours of the foot.
  • Puncture Resistant Plate
Puncture resistant boots help reduce the possibility of injury caused by sharp objects that can penetrate the bottom of a boot. KEEN Utility uses a non-metallic, woven midsole plate that meets ASTM and CSA standards.

  • Comfortable but has Durability Issues

    3

I have heard of Keen footwear within the outdoor sports industry, and I primarily got them because I have heard tradespeople, and law enforcement say positive comments towards Keen work boots. The Keen Oshawa's are one of the most comfortable/supportive boots I have worn. The toe box is wide, which accommodates my wide forefoot, the insole has a medium arch, and the overall build of the boot is well designed/made. Unfortunately, the durability of the outsole is lacking. After 10 months of use the tread has worn down to the EVA midsole and chunks of rubber have been shearing off the boot. This is after working in security 9 months full time, and 1 month of work in parks environment. Additionally, the waterproof Keen-Dry membrane has deteriorated, and no longer keeps my feet dry in the rain. I would not recommend these boots for trades oriented work. I have worked in construction as a carpenter, and I feel that they will not be able to withstand job site use.

Comfy boot, doesn't last, not built for work

    2

I work in custom home building, I have had this boot for about 3 months and the steel toes are wearing through the leather, and the sole is getting torn to shreds. If these things got fixed, and better soles and thicker leather were used, I would buy this boot again in black. Pros: comfy, light, Cons: doesn't stand up to construction, or daily wear, steel toe wearing through, soles falling apart

    Best work boot ever

I've worn work boots for the past 25 years and I'm on my 4th pair of these keens and love them. Lite super comfortable I've actually raced a skid steer down the road in them. And won!!!!

Not waterproof or durable enough for construction.

This is the second time I've been unhappy with these boots. Bought a pair a couple of years ago and returned them to the store where they were purchased within 2 weeks because they were not at all waterproof. Took a chance and got another pair just over 30 days ago. Same problem. Although now I've had them a month and the leather is already as worn as the boots I was replacing. I would say these might work for urban use, but definitely not for commercial construction.

I use these boots as a flight paramedic. We don't have to wear CSA boots but these are so light, why not. The fit is better than any other boot at this price. Normally I pay almost twice as much for the same fit. I just can't find any of this model locally so I'm buying them online this time. Greg

I hope they last as good as they fit.

Have just recieved these boots but I must say first day out they are like an old fiend. One thing about Keens once you know your correct size all their foot wear fits perfectly.

My favorite boots I've ever had

Very comfortable, still waterproof on my 3rd winter wearing them on work sites. Great boots make such a big difference.
