  • This boot CHANGED my expectations!

    5

Bought this after trying it on in store and it has completely changed my expectations of steel toes. I thought I'd be stuck in something heavy, narrow, uncomfortable, and blister-causing but that is DEFINITELY not the case. This boot is light, durable, comfortable, the fit is supreme. It's totally waterproof thanks to Keen.Dry, and doesn't smell horrible even after weeks use. Grip is also amazing - I work in an automotive shop with grease, oil, fluid, water spills and I haven't had to worry (granted I'm always careful of my foot placement). 8 hour days on my feet couldn't get better with these boots on.

I would buy this boot every time.

I am an Elevator Constructor and in every kind of condition you can imagine. These boots hold up extremely long. On my feet all day every day. Every other brand I put insoles in once a month, with Keen I have never replaced the insoles. My back and knees no longer ache. On my 4th pair in 10 years. Will never buy another brand.

Second Pair of Hamilitons, not the same construction

    1

I am a millwright at a small power generation plant, mostly working indoors, but putting high miles on my boots. 3 years ago i bought my first pair of Keens and fell in love with the fit, water proof, breathablity and super comfortable Hamilton boot. After wearing them for 1.5 years, (other boots typically last 9 months to 1 year, zero issues. Best boots EVER! However, company policy changed and i had to wear 8" boots, bought the Oshawa boots...great boots, (little warm for indoor work), but liked Hamiltons better. Policy changed again, back to 6" boots...I couldn't buy Hamiltons quick enough!!! Such a DISAPPOINTMENT!!!!! Feel cheap, inflexible, super hot and sweaty feet.

    Very tough work boot

I am on my feet all day and in all weather conditions. These boots hold up through about anything. They grip very well and are great in snow and deep puddles as well as mud. They do not leak as others have posted. I am a big man (300lbs 6'4) and they have held up for the last 6 months and then high top laces keep your ankles well supported. They are VERY comfortable and durable. I would rather pay an extra $100 and have a well lasting boot than a cheap pair every 3 months.

    Not a good work boot

    2

Bought these boots August 20, 2017. As a home builder I'm tasked with doing a variety of jobs per day. These boots although decently comfortable, are not built for any type of tradesman. I wore them August, September and October, and after three months, they are in rough shape. Laces have broken, sole is falling apart and coming undone from the boot, the leather exterior is covered in cuts and holes, and as such are no longer water/weather tight. A bad buy, especially at 260$!! I've had 100$ Kodiak Boots that have lasted 2-3 years. I was convinced by employees at Marks to try these out and am severely disappointed. Do not buy.

    Outstanding!

Easily the best work boot I've ever owned. As a bricklayer for 14+ years, I struggled to find a boot that I could stand in all day and move freely up and down scaffolding and on uneven terrain. And they are holding up very well under some crazy conditions. One thing I appreciate is the attention to detail as far as the overall width of this boot. I hate wide boots with all sorts of extra platform material that always gets in my way... its unnecessary.

First off this is a very comfortable work boot. I've just retired my second pair primarily working in ship repair. When the boots are new they are quite water proof but as they wear, not so much. Also I was surprised how fast the sole wore out/came apart. Overall I would buy another pair just because they fit so well on my wide foot.

Worst waterproof boot i ever bought

    1

First pair leaked in the two months of ownership. Returned and now second pair are leaking after 4 months. Useless. And the real ironry is that this boots were ono of the most expensive overseas workboots in the store.

The insoles that are included with the boots are too thin and do not offer adequate padding, especially in the forefoot. I had sore feet until I replaced the insoles. It's nice that the boots are waterproof but I do not find the liner to be very breathable and my feet get quite hot and sweaty after awhile. The boots also are not the lightest steel toe boots. Despite the cons, these are still great boots. After inserting new insoles, and when wearing thick socks, I have no foot soreness.
