  • Comfortable boot but no breathability at all and leaks

    2

I have had these boots for a little over 2 months. There probably the most comfortable boots I've worn in 15 years of plumbing but after a week I realised there is no breathability in them. My feet felt like they were on fire and they also smelled really bad after a days work to the point I was embarrassed to take them off at a clients house. Then a few weeks later after just walking in rain, not even a puddle I started getting wet feet. I looked under the shoe and found several screws in the red cushion absorber which is where the water must have been getting in. Not ideal for trade work as this cushion looks like a flaw in the boot if screws can penetrate them that easy. If the sole was solid without the cushion and they breathed better, would be a great boot but unfortunately not. Thankfully they are under warranty!

    Great boot, laces suck.

I bought these boots from a local retailer of Keen footwear. They are a great boot. I have worn safety boots for the past 27 years and these are ranking amongst the top 3. I've been wearing them a couple months now and haven't had the issues others have had with the boot hooks. My issue is with the laces. They only seem to last 6-8 weeks. And replacement laces just aren't visually appealing. Yes, I know, first world problems. But I find the black/yellow laces the perfect compliment to the black boot. And even replacement laces don't seem to last any longer.

I bought Hamilton csa boots 7 months ago and it was really comfortable work boots. But now after only 7 months they are falling apart. It feels like pieces of the composite toe is braking off on the inside of the boot, so I can't wear them anymore. It is a pretty expensive boot to buy and if it lasts only 7 months I don't think I will ever buy or recommend any Keen products ever again. I have never dropped anything on the boots so there is no reason why the toe must start to brake down

    Great Boots

    5

I have wore these boots during fall, winter and spring seasons. They are great and will buy them again. Working in a puddle of water and my feet were dry . Keen makes a great boot. Comfortable and not heavy to walk around in all day.

    Carbon toe sucks

    1

This boot was awesome when it was a steel toe. Now as a carbon toe it does not fit properly. I have tried the extra wide and also went up a half size and still not good. My toes are cramped on the sides and they get bad blisters.

good boots but lace hooks broke in a month of wear

    4

the top lace hook broke after a month of wear but the company was great in giving us the money to buy a new pair off their website. Lets see if this pair last longer! Otherwise a great product. This is the second pair of Keen workbooks that I have bought. The last pair was fantastic and went through a lot before the material broke down

    Expensive and not worth it

    1

After three weeks I made the mistake of walking in a bit of water, the right boot started making a wheezing, squishing sound and I can feel wetness in the bottom of my foot. Very disappointed the sole is separating so quickly and a brutal break in

Had this boot for 3 years.

So I'm a carpenter and I've had these boots for about three years (got them before I had a job), in the last 2 years I've been using them regularly and they're still together. A little uncomfortable now but overall not bad considering how long they lasted. Might become concrete boots now once I get a new boots. 8/10 would try these again

    Disappointed

    2

I'm an equipment operator that spends equal amount of time outside the machine on the ground and although these boots are quite comfortable and light, they just didn't hold up. After about three weeks two of the lace hooks snapped off, in two months the soles were pretty well ripped to shreds and now falling off completely at the heel. Now at six months, they're pretty well garbage. I would rate them in the same category as dakotas, nice try but just too light weight unless you're just looking for something to walk around in.

I work on a cement floor for hours, they are the best, tried many but they are on top of my list.
