  • Second try not so good

    1

I wear these boots when I don't need to be a special boot for a specific task, kind of my general day to day boot. Work out doors in all weather. I owned a pair previously when they first come out and loved them. Super comfortable, the wide fit was nice, I wore the sole off before the boot wore out. My second pair fell apart in no time. Multiple lace hooks broke off, the seal between the upper and sole started to open up quickly, other stitching Came out quickly and to top it off an identical sized boot did not fit the same. I was not impressed with my purchase.

    Not a bad boot.

Needed a new pair of work boots and these were new at my local store. We're very comfortable when I tried them on. Overall a really good boot, I am a heavy duty mechanic that works outside all the time and these keep me warm. I find the sole on the boot a bit stiff I like a bit more flexibility in a sole and it probably would be great with a vibrum fire and ice sole instead. The black pleather on the tops of mine are coming apart after a couple months of use, the stitching is coming out of one side and the pull tabs on the back of the boot are wearing into it on the back of both boots. The toe cap on one has also started to come off. That being said the rest of the boot should last a long time. Have to see if they do.
