I love how this boots slip on and off easily and fit comfortably without laces. The grip in packed snow is very good, and these boots are very warm during most winter days in the Canadian Rockies. I have not worn them hiking, but I am considering them for winter hikes. My only complaint is that the rear pull tab separated from the boot about 2 years ago. I still wear them and they are still easy enough to put on, just not as convenient since the tab is gone. Since these are still my favorite snow boot, I did not deduct a star. Keen are shoes, boots and sandals are my favorites for many years. They just fit better than most, providing lots of room in the toe area to accommodate unrestricted spreading of the toes under load. Keen clothes are also unbeatable IMHO for the price.
