IT ALL STARTED WITH THE TARGHEE
Back in 2005, we created our very first hiking boot. We wanted to make a reliable and rugged boot with the iconic toe protection of our fan-favourite Newport sandal, but with the features and fit of a trusty trail shoe. After what felt like a thousand prototypes, Targhee was ready to get out there and explore. Years later, it’s still our #1 hiking shoe thanks to its plenty-of-room-in-the toe-box fit, durable design, and classic good looks.

Targhee: Exploring the Grand Canyon or hiking a birthday milestone , the men’s and women’s Targhee is our go-everywhere, do-everything hiking shoe. The environmentally preferred leather and mesh upper has a classic hiker look (which will match your old-school outdoor fleece perfectly) and helps protect feet against bumps and scratches. While climbing over rocks or crouching under overgrown branches, the locked-in heel fit and easy-to-tighten laces keep feet supported. Rain in the forecast? No worries. The KEEN.DRY waterproof, breathable membrane and PFAS-free water repellency (no forever chemicals here!) make sure things stay nice and dry from trailhead to post-hike high-fives.
