These boots are tried and true for me on the trail and I love them so, great for getting muddy, sandy, wet, and dusty. A well rounded hiking boot for any trail.

I was desperately in need of new boots after my trusty Timberlands gave out after 5 years. I have a wide foot so the wider toe box of Keen's worked perfectly. I was getting bad blisters at the beginning but after switching around some soles and socks combos, they fit perfectly. I put about 500 miles on them in 3 months, hiking every day and I was mostly pleased. They are waterproof for walking on wet ground and through shallow streams but I found my feet got wet if it was raining (water came in the top at the laces). My biggest issue with these was that after those 3 months of daily use, the seam on the side of the big toe started coming undone. That shouldn't have happened after owning them for only a few months. They served me well though. Definitely great boots for day hiking, for backpacking I'd recommend a sturdier boot.

Comments about KEEN Women's Durand Waterproof Mid:

I wear these boots 5 days a week at work. They are the ONLY boots that have lasted me over 6 months. I have had them for over a year now and they are STILL waterproof. I recommend them to people all the time and will continue buying them. Well worth the price, for a shoe that lasts forever!!!

Love these! Ordered a half size larger than I usually wear, as suggested and the are a perfect fit. My feet stay warm with one pair of socks and they are so lightweight! Comfortable and cute too! Money well spent!

        Great Hiking Boot!!!

Comments about KEEN Women's Durand Waterproof Mid:

I absolutely love these boots! I am on a search and rescue team and these are the boots I wear for both searches and training. I got a good 2 years out of my first pair and just ordered another pair! I love how they feel like I'm wearing a comfortable pair of tennis shoes. I can easily do a multi-day search at 8-10 hrs a day without my feet hurting or having to give my feet a break. The height of the boot comes to just over my ankle and therefore I don't have to worry about stepping in puddles or if it starts raining.

Normal tennis shoes I wear a 7.5-8 depending on the manufacturer and in the Durands I wear an 8. Lots of toe room!
