  • 4mm multi directional lugs
  • Contoured heel lock
  • KEEN.Dry waterproof breathable membrane
  • Torsion stability ESS shank

We've carefully selected leather uppers designed to last. Then again, if you're wearing your KEENs daily, they won't always be scuff and dirt-free. To treat day to day wear and tear, especially on lighter color leathers, we recommend using a leather cleaner and conditioner, found at most footwear dealers and/or shoe repair shops.

I normally do not give reviews but I give credit where credit is do so..â€_

I have been doing construction for 23 years and clearly remember the words of my first boss, "Since you will be on your feet all the time find the most comfortable and supportable shoe and buy them. Because once you start to have problems with your feet it's too late." Well that search has ended with KEEN and I have not looked anywhere else! Now that I am a boss I tell my workers the same thing, recommending KEENs.

They are soooo comfortable that I wear practically from the time I wake up till the time I go to bed. I have a pair for work, play and "church". Really I do. I usually order 2-3 at a time which is what I am about to do. I have tried different Keens but I seem to have landed on the Targhee as my favorite even though every one I have tried has been great.

I have a narrow foot and was a bit concerned when I put them on at first since they seemed to be a bit to wide. However, one I got them broke in they snugged up to my feet and fit just fine.

For those of you who do construction, this shoe is great for walking walls, staying on a steep roofs and keeping dry. I don't what else to say except buy one and try and you will be a believer like me.

I bought a pair of these boots 17 months ago at the store in NW Portland, Oregon. They have been incredibly comfortable from the first day. I have subjected these to hundreds of miles of urban walking in Boston, and they have kept my feet dry through rain and snow. The uppers and soles have years of wear left in them, but the heels wore through quickly (see attached photo). The heels are not as durable as they appear; they have a rubber outer layer that is only 3 to 5 millimeters thick, under which is a layer of relatively soft foam. Once I wore through the rubber, the foam abraded very quickly. I plan to buy another pair of Keen boots, but I will look for a model with a more durable heel.

Falling apart after three weeks of wear

Comments about KEEN Men's Targhee II:

My fiancee received these as a Christmas gift and started wearing them about three weeks ago. The sole is already coming apart on the bottom. Could be a good show if they were not falling apart. But because did this I am giving them a 2 star.

Comments about KEEN Men's Targhee II:

The shoes are good quality built shoe, needs a better arch support I'm a chef I work anywhere from 12 to 18 hours a day on concrete and the on the yard and they are good shoes, but they just need to hug your your foot to it's feel like I'm wearing cowboy boots.. I would buy keen's again.

my heels slip out of the shoe.

Comments about KEEN Men's Targhee II:

I love the boot version of this shoe, but sadly the low top version isn't the best for my foot. with my high profile feet it's hard to cinch the laces so my heels don't slip. I ordered a half size up as suggested. perhaps a wide version might fix the issue. Still, I like how the shoe looks and if it weren't for that small issue I'd wear it constantly.
