It's extremely comfortable.it also has super strong grip.usually after I finish hiking my feet will hurt a little because other shoes I bought didn't really make me feel comfortable. But after wearing the shoe , I don't feel a thing at all :D . It's a really great product

Battle tested on the Camino de Santiago

I fretted for months about what boot or shoe to use for the Camino de Santiago (500 miles across Spain) and ultimately settled on a brand I've been familiar with on all my local hikes in California, including the Sierra Nevadas. I went with the Oakridge Waterproof boot. I've enjoyed the low-top, non-waterproof versions of Keens for many hikes but have recently switched to waterproof because Keen makes a reasonably breathable waterproof shoe that never bothers me. And yes, the Oakridge boot held up extremely well for the Camino, and beyond. The trail is a bit of everything really: Dirt, rocks, cobblestones, pavement in sun, rain, wind, dust, mud, snow and ice. We got it all and my boots took it all and came out like shining knights. I broke them in nicely beforehand and wore two pair of socks. At times my feet were on the hot side but never wet, even in downpours. Zero blisters. The boots performed well in ankle deep snow and city pavement too. My only issue is that I wish they were made in the USA, which would have made me feel better about them, however, the $120 price tag is very reasonable for these comfortable boots. Anyway, after 500 plus miles, the soles seem fine for at least another 500 more.

My pleasure to be the 1st

My pleasure to be the 1st to review. I have a few of the Keen sandals. I live in Colorado so obviously need to wear something else at times. Loving the sandals as I do I thought I'd try these boots. They arrived just in time to deal with a foot of snow. We have a long, steep driveway. I know these are not specifically made for cold weather but worn with Keen wool socks my feet were warm and dry after 3 hours. Keen, you nailed it with these boots. I've never done a review but couldn't be more favorably impressed with these! Thanks
